Shin was tired. He was tired out of his mind. Could you blame him? Probably. He didn’t have to take long shifts from 5 pm to 11 pm. He didn’t have to work on extra side jobs from 1 to 7 am. And he didn’t need to constantly check to see if Kanna was doing alright while sleeping over at Sara and Joes house. Well more apartment. He didn’t have to do all this. But he absolutely did. Now he was left tired, barely having any energy, running off of three energy drinks, a bag of gummy worms, and a half slice of pizza, while clocking in at his 5 pm shift. Once he went in, he saw his co-worker, Alice Yabusame.

Summary
Killua is a twelve year old boy who has untouched trauma from his still ongoing childhood. He starts to discover how bad his life was on Kukuroo Mountain through continuous vivid nightmares.
Now he is taking a trip to Whale Island with Gon for some rest and relaxation before they head out to Yorknew city. However, Killua's nightmares are getting worse every night and are even starting to affect him during the day. He doesn't want to bother Gon with his struggles, so maybe, just maybe, if he ignores the nightmares, everything will be okay.This story takes place directly after the Heavens Arena arc and right before the start of the Greed Island arc! My goal was to make it fit the canonical timeline with just a few changes here and there!
