Summary
Essek's gaze is carefully blank as he leans in, closes the gap.
"…how did you hear of Azadrun’s Series?”
Caleb stops.
He really gives this some thought.
“Er…but it was you who taught me that,” he says, eventually. “During one of our sessions, yes? Where else could I have learned of such things?”
“You are asking me?” Essek snorts. “I certainly do not recall sharing it with you.”

Summary
This strange sexual tension is growing, but neither of them think it wise to acknowledge it.
Fjord has never claimed to be very wise. And he's has just about had it with Widogast’s bullshit. The prick is cocky, arrogant, and too smart for his own damn good. He needs to be taken down a peg, and Fjord has spent all day meticulously planning how to do just that.

“What’s your color, Caleb?”
“Green, sir.” The excited eagerness in Caleb's voice is so palpable Fjord can feel it in run straight from the human’s words into his own cock.
“Excellent.”
The tentacles around Caleb’s arms tighten once more as another pair snake around the human’s legs.

A clamour of voices erupted.
“We’re invited to a ball? Do we get to buy fancy-”
“Why are you having a ball-”
“We are the worst people you could’ve invited.”(or, the Nein are invited to a ball, and Essek doesn't seem happy about the whole idea of a ball to begin with. Caleb wants to know what's up, because of course he does)

Summary
“Danke, come again.”
Caleb sighed. It was another one of those days, he supposed, leaning on the counter and fiddling with a little ceramic mushroom. Caduceus has asked him to step in for a shift at the cafe after Mollymauk called in sick, and who was he to say no? Caduceus was always well-intentioned, patient, attentive when Caleb needed his help, and Caleb could use the extra pay. Caleb couldn’t decide what was worse, though: the endless rush of a busy day, leaving his thoughts and hands preoccupied but bone-tired by the end of the day, or days like today. Days that just dragged on, with nothing to do but wipe down the same counters endlessly and glance at the door every two minutes. Days where his body was tired but his mind was wide awake and aching to do something, anything other than just standing here. He was left to count the minutes.
Bells chimed, signalling the arrival of a customer. Finally—
Caleb froze, his ears turning pink. Hot Boy was back.Series

Summary
Caleb shifts his vision into Frumpkin and flies the familiar a little closer, his small bird feet wrapping around a sapling nearby. Fjord looks into the trees and gives the sparrow a quick nod before pressing a small kiss to the back of Caleb’s neck. It is an achingly soft gesture, one that Caleb does not know how to parse.
And then Caleb is lost to sensation.

Summary
In Caleb’s eyes, it is picturesque. Dark, small, and a staircase leading up the porch that looks insurmountable, it’s still maybe the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen.
He makes way for it immediately, and he hears the crunch of Fjord following after him, panting heavily and following along in the treads Caleb leaves. The snow buffets Caleb’s face, whipping his hair into his eyes and neck like little knives, and he presses harder for the unassuming little building, gritting his teeth against the cold.
When he reaches the staircase, he turns to look back. He squints through the wind and out behind them through the steady roar of snow. He can no longer hear the shrieks of the hags and sees no sign of them over Fjord’s shoulder, but that does not mean they are not still coming.
Something is always coming.

Summary
Fjord looks as though he’s hopped off the cover of a trashy bodice-ripper, and Caleb went and lied himself right into the pages of it.
When Caleb's past comes looking for him in Nicodranas, the Mighty Nein split up to make their escape, agreeing to meet up in Port Damali by spring. But Nott's discovery as a stowaway complicates matters, and Caleb is forced to construct an elaborate case of identity fraud to keep his little friend alive.

Summary
A shared interest in the arcane and a few throwaway fucks was one thing, had mutual benefit, but the sort of secondhand suffering that curled around Essek’s ribcage and currently crippled his ability to speak was the symptom of something else entirely.
Caleb tilted his head to the side, lifting his chin just enough to glance sideways at the drow. The low flame of the torch sconces dispersed just enough dull light through the room to play cruelly over ghost-pale skin and scabbed-over gashes like claw marks so deep that multicolor bruises radiated around them. Divine healing magic only did so much when there wasn’t enough to go around.
During the Mighty Nein’s future in Rosohna, it takes one too many close calls for Essek to separate the political from the personal, and to realize just how personal his relationship with the party’s wizard had become.Bookmarked by IvoryCrest

Summary
Fjord snorts, then laughs aloud. “What is it gonna take,” he says, tapping a finger against the incorrect name, “to get you to spell it right?”
Caleb’s eyes glint with stifled amusement. “I don’t know.” His voice is so low that Fjord can scarcely hear him. “Maybe you should spell it out for me.”
“You’re a smart man,” Fjord murmurs. He can feel himself blushing, heat crawling up his cheeks, but the simmer in Caleb’s blue eyes gives him the courage to add, “I think you can figure it out just fine.”

Liam messes with his friends in character. It's a pattern. He even manages it with Caleb.
This time, Travis unexpectedly turns it around on him and a good time is had by all.
(To be clear, it bounces between RPF and Mighty Nein characters; it's honestly the least uncomfortable kind of RPF (it's a comedy, there is no RPF shipping or conflict and it's all about the game) - but still, be aware because I know that's big for some people)Series

Summary
When the company of The Fletching and Moondrop Travelling Carnical of Curiosities is falsely implicated in a string of kidnappings leading up to the death of a child, Mollymauk Tealeaf - fortune teller, conman and carnie extraordinaire - finds a way to stay their executions by offering the local lord his fortune telling powers. Now, with his circus family being held behind bars and embroiled in court as a prophet, Molly must work with the other court members to find the real culprit, lest he and his family all end up in a hangman's noose. Among his new and uneasy allies is a half-orc with a disappearing sword, a court cleric who doesn't seem to have a god, a goblin in disguise, a surly monk from the Colbalt Soul, and a strange court wizard in a dirty, oversized coat.
But not all is as it seems among the court of Lord Trasys, and Molly may soon find himself in far over his head. Can Molly find a way to exonerate his circus and escape the court with his head, or will he get trapped in the seemingly unending web of intrigue and be eaten alive?
Oh, and there's one tiny problem: Molly can't actually see the future.
