Summary
In the wake of Peter Parker erasing himself from the memories of his friends and family, not to mention the entire universe, he's doing as well as can be expected. Three years later, he's attending ESU, trying to work three jobs alongside getting two degrees, and still going out as Spider-Man. He's fine, really. Everything is just fine. That is until a run-in with the law and a DNA test shatter the carefully constructed facade that Peter had made his life.

“Your blood matches a sample the FBI has on file from a kidnapping case.” Agent Carisi opens the thicker file. “A four-year-old boy taken while on vacation with his father about twenty years ago.”
Peter’s breathing speeds up.
“Authorities took fingerprint and DNA samples from the boy’s room, and at the father’s behest, we continue to test them against any that are placed within any system we have access to.”
A piece of paper with lab results lays atop the file. It gets picked up and placed on the table.

Summary
Set a year and a half on from the events of Assassin's Quest. Fitz, Kettricken and Chade find a way to restore Verity to human form. But the task leaves Fitz broken in mind and body. World weary, Fitz withdraws to his cabin in the woods to live in isolation for several months until King Verity seeks him out and drags him back to Buckkeep.

Verity was my absolute favourite character of the series and I just couldn't get enough of these two. So here is the Fitz & Verity centered fic I always wanted read, but could never find. Where Verity gets his happy ending and finally has enough time to help our boy Fitz deal with his host of PTSD and abandonment issues. SLOOOW paced exploration of Fitz and Verity's relationship. Detective Carson followed her gaze. “Looks like Nightwing is having as much trouble with this case as we are.”
Amy sent him a sharp look. “We don’t rely on criminals to solve our cases for us, Detective.”

Summary
Love was not a matter of agreement, or even shared values. That is how it is with family: you can clash and argue and fight, but no one else can. No one else has the right to.
And even after a thousand disagreements and even more arguments, Bruce remained the man who raised them. The man who grew into the role of a father for every kid that had lived under this roof.
So if this alternative Bruce had no Robins, one could at least hope there was someone else waiting for him. Someone who thought of him beyond just Batman. It was only fair, for no Bruce should ever be alone. Even if Bruce himself most often did not realize so.
Bats are social creatures, after all.
Or
Absolute Batman lands in the Mainline universe and learns that maybe his mission doesn't need to be a lonely one.
