Summary
I've kind of got a theme here where I do these annual stories with an AU theme, but I didn't think further than "coffee shop AU" and I already spent that nickel last year.
So yeah, this is about Launch getting recruited into a super sentai team that exclusively fights Christmas-themed battles. Blink and you'll miss cameos by the Supreme Kai of Time, Towa, and WCW legend the Shockmaster. But mostly it's my loser OC's trying to save Christmas.

Dio realizes during a drunken stupor that Jonathan will most likely survive his trip to Ogre Street and bring back the proof that he IS poisoning George. To make sure that his claim on the Joestar fortune is secure, he decides to test the mask and then use it to kill him. During this time he ends up running into a familiar old face in the form of Erina Pendleton, the girl that ruined his childhood plans.
Dio decides it's time for her to pay him back for defiance...
Except the mask doesn't kill her.
A retelling of Phantom Blood only this time Erina isn't just a passive bystander in the fight.

They stay that way for a long time, Catra’s face tucked into Adora’s shoulder, Adora gently cradling Catra’s head. Adora is careful not to hug Catra too hard or make her feel restrained, anticipating the moment that Catra will start to pull away — but Catra doesn’t. She hangs on so tightly it hurts, her claws digging through Adora’s jacket and into her back, latching into her like she did when she was a kitten and didn’t know how much her claws could hurt. Adora tries not to wince, tries not to move a single muscle, worried that if she does the spell will break and Catra will struggle away, appalled at having shown weakness.
But Catra doesn’t let go. And so neither does Adora.

Taylor didn’t remember much about the locker.
She didn’t remember hitting her head on the back of the locker when one of her tormentors shoved her in, passing out. She didn’t remember the jeers and taunts from the other students, glad it wasn’t them being shoved in a locker filled with rotting tampons and human waste. She didn’t remember being left in a biohazard overnight. Nor did she remember slowly losing feeling in her extremities in the cold, unheated school building.
She certainly did not remember a pair of otherworldly beings dropping shards of themselves. Nor remember a shard falling at her.
She did, however, remember the light that shattered the shard and kept her warm until she was found the next day.
