Summary
Barriss Offee and Anakin Skywalker find themselves trapped on Pantora. Buried under a blizzard, they find a good way to stay warm. After their rescue, they find that feelings had become intertwined with the act of survival. Suddenly Anakin finds the flaws in his relationship to great to ignore. He wonders if Padme was right. If that was really how their marriage was built. His mind keeps circling back to Barriss.
Barriss finds herself with a taste of affection and she can't get enough. Anakin had been kind, patient, and careful. Nobody had ever been those things to her. She finds herself living for a glimpse of him in the halls. All she can think about is Anakin and the affection they had. She wants nothing more than to give him all of her affection. When they are freed, the unspeakable bond they share must remain hidden from the Jedi, and from Padme.
