Thanks to some help from Brynden "Bloodraven" Rivers and Shiera Seastar, Bran sees a vision of future events in which his soul is killed and he becomes a puppet of the Great Other thanks to the Night King's brand.
Now it is up to Bran, Brynden, Meera, and two Children of the Forest to make sure that vision doesn't come to pass while keeping Rickon Stark safe and nudging Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen to their rightful destiny.

A post S8 GOT story.
Canon (tv) except for a few changes:
Sansa is chosen by Tyrion instead of Bran.
Jaime survived the cave-in, was unconscious not dead. Hightailed out of there because he assumed Daenerys would execute him. In hiding, goes to Essos.
Arya gave Jon the Catspaw dagger and he killed Daenerys with it.
Daenerys is resurrected but the trauma of what happened left her with no memory of it.
Rhaegal did not die because that was just too easy and Viserion is resurrected by magic.
Jon finds out in the North that there is a greater enemy by far than the being Arya killed that night.
An exploration of how D&D left Westeros and Essos a mess and what (my perception of) the characters will do about it.
Self indulgent crackfic, based on show but expanding into book lore.
Seemed to me Dany, Jon, Sansa, Jaime, Tyrion and Arya were pretty much butchered in S8. Just my opinion. I wasn’t expecting a happy ending, but I wanted something satisfying. Since instead we got that, now I want a happy ending!

Summary
I was gutted by season 8 of Game of Thrones. I decided to write a fanfic about it, imagining if Daenerys had a vision about all that was to come. I chose her because I feel like, as badly wrecked as other characters were in S8, she really got it the worst and had the most losses. And she had such a dream before and Daenys Targaryen dreamed of the Doom of Valyria. This is mostly her POV, a few others. I also added things here and there because I would have liked to see the scenes (like why did Arya and Daenerys not have one conversation? I was annoyed by that and so they will meet in this fic). Mostly show canon unless additional info or characters are needed. Starts at the beginning of S7, some scenes start out like the ones in the show but then change, because if Dany knows from her dream that some act will bring disaster she’ll do something else. Feedback is deeply appreciated and more than welcome. Please be as gentle as you can! If you hate Daenerys you will not like this story. But I’m trying to be gentle with all the characters. Well, most of them. Trying to ascribe good motives as much as possible. I do not own these characters or story. Everything here belongs to George R.R. Martin, D.B. Weiss, David Benioff, HBO.

Summary
S8 pissed me off for many reasons. It looked to me like they left Westeros and the world in a bad place, and I will be exploring that in this fic.
Jonerys endgame but the slowest of slow burns. Dany kind of hates Jon at first but she hates herself just as much.
There will be magic and dragons. I’m annoyed Jon didn’t have magic on the show, so that’s gonna change. But it’ll be awhile.
As I mentioned in my other work, I AM NOT A WRITER, so if you come in my comments to tell me my writing is trash I’m gonna laugh at you because dude, I know.

Jedi training complete, Rey now sits at the heart of a resurgent Resistance while Kylo Ren’s empire cements its grasp over the territories which have fallen under First Order control.
