Grian's alter ego, Cuteguy, is known across the city for being three things: dangerous, insane, and completely obsessed with his hero counterpart, Hotguy. Scar is a café worker who spends his nights in a blue and orange visor to become Hotguy, the city's greatest hero with a past no one speaks of, who regularly battles his greatest nemesis, Cuteguy.
Cuteguy is notoriously obsessed with his nemesis. Scar is head over heels for the friendly avian who regularly visits his café. Both of them are hiding things, and one holds a secret that could change the very city they live in.
Between layers of endless lies, social media drama and rumours of government programs, two people trek the dangerous and unpredictable pathway of love between one whom it should be impossible to have it with.

“It’s a scam.” Lian informed Tim solemnly as she carefully put a plate in the cupboard.“What is?” Tim asked with some amusement as he dried a cup.
“Having pups.” Lian said firmly. “It’s free labor.” She added, total sincerity laced through her scent.
Tim was fighting for his life to not laugh at her, but it was so hard because her face was just so serious, in the way that only a six-year-old who had decided they knew what life was all about could be. “You might be onto something.” He managed to say. “Tell me more?”
“We’re not being paid to do chores.” Lian said. “So we’re doing stuff for free and are not being com-pen-sated. But they can do that ‘cause we’re just pups. We can’t tell ‘em no.”
