“She booked me for a photoshoot tomorrow.”
Oh-aew looked at his lover in confusion. That information is indeed a bit alarming, because Teh is known for being quite workaholic. Even on his day off, he would be fidgeting in his seat finding something productive to do. He’d review a script for next month’s shooting, or go to the nearby theater to watch a play. Though it’s true that Teh has learned to lighten up these days, especially when it’s Oh-aew asking him to do so, it’s still unusual for him to not be happy about new work prospects.
“And why is that a problem?” Oh-aew wonders.
He felt Teh stiffen for a moment before leaning his head backwards into his thigh and meeting gazes with him. In his orbs are subtle hints of disbelief mixed with disappointment, like he had expected him to know the answer to that question.
It takes Oh-aew a good moment to recall what tomorrow was, and he lets out a long exhale as he begins to piece everything together.

“Bullshit!” trilled P’Plern, in a tone that could be heard clearly even above the rumble of the waiting crowd in the stadium. “Both Nong Tay and Nong Billkin are exactly your same height.” went on the make-up artist, completely unaffected by the singer’s declaration, but the words only made PP snap his head back to her face with eyes full of interest, while P’Ritz stopped fixing the last details on PP’s stage outfit to let out an amused snort at his reaction.
“Billkin?” replied the singer, almost breathlessly, a dangerous smirk slowly spreading out on his face. “Is that his name?”
(When a famous singer on tour wants to get into the pants of his brand-new and apparently impassible collaborator, but loses his heart to him as well.)

There is very little Peter and lots of Harriet. I could have put Harriet-Peter-Bunter under Relationships but it would have given rather the wrong impression. There is also police incompetence, wilful disregard of the speed limit and handwavey chemistry.

Things don’t always go as you think.
PP learns that one Monday morning, at the onset of summer, when he walks out of their house, directly in front of the bakery, and sees Billkin waiting outside of the still closed store.
Sure enough, when Billkin looks towards his direction, he’s left puzzled, baffled, and extremely embarrassed, because he was still in his pajamas, had not yet brushed his teeth, probably had crazy bed hair, and shit, Billkin is wearing that Cookie Monster apron again. And the mess he already was spirals into even more chaos when Billkin runs up to him and drops the question that sets everything in motion.
“Can you teach me how to bake?”
(Daycare assistant Billkin meets baker PP one summer day and asks for baking lessons.)
