Summary
Paul's heart seemed to want to beat out of him, his hands trembling against the windowsill. He struggled to focus his breathing, tried to listen to his body, to find the source of the sudden tightness in his chest.
His senses were screaming at him that something was wrong. This wasn’t the aftereffects of the wine he’d had for dinner or lingering nerves over his conversation with Celia.
This was different, this was…
“Duncan,” he said slowly. “I feel sick.”
---
While Paul realizes that the dreams he’s been having lately are becoming a little too real, he is sent on his first solo assignment, visiting a befriended House Minor. It seems like a simple mission… until the assassination attempt. -

Summary
Roy stared at Fullmetal – at this 12-year-old kid – and for the first time, he realized that Fullmetal knew exactly what his affiliation to the military could mean for him. Despite his casual disregard of regulations, despite his pouting over paperwork, despite his distracted stares out the window while the Führer gave one of his speeches, Fullmetal knew exactly that he was trapped and that he could be required to kill one day.

“This isn’t home,” Edward answered, half-distracted by his book.
Kain frowned. “It’s not?”
Edward flipped through some pages, pulling another book closer. “It’s temporary,” he replied. “We’re looking for something and as soon as we’ve found it, we’re gone.”Series

Summary
Just like Roy and the rest of the team, Riza was nothing more than an assistance for the boys in their search for a way to get their bodies back. Trying to read more into it was a moot point and putting her anywhere near the place their mother had had in their lives seemed downright offensive.

Summary
Jean wondered if anybody else on the team noticed it.
Ed and Al would come back from their most recent mission and they’d chat and laugh and everything would seem normal. But Jean could see it wasn’t. He could see the cracks in Ed’s smile. He’d seen them often enough in the mirror on himself.Series

Summary
Peter can easily admit that he’s struggling—at least to himself. He’s juggling two jobs that don’t quite cover his bills and trying to write his PhD dissertation, all the while keeping up his patrols as Spider-Man and grappling with the trauma of Gwen’s death. His only solace is the friends-with-benefits relationship that he has going on with Wade, but given the way Wade has been looking at him lately, he feels he might be in over his head there as well. It’s really not the best time for a serial killer to terrorize New York’s underworld, but when did villains ever work according to Peter’s schedule?
a.k.a. The one in which Peter’s life unravels, people try to help and Wade just tries not to get his heart broken.

Summary
Alphonse’s voice had been solemn, not faltering even once, not even at the end. “If that happens, if I ever disappear, you’ll stop him. You won’t let him get my soul back a second time. I don’t know what it’ll cost him and I’m not willing to let him find out.”
Alphonse had made Roy promise. It was a promise Fullmetal knew nothing about and Roy had hoped he would never have to keep it. -

With Bruce, Beck and Peter now semi-permanent inhabitants of Serenity, the crew’s life has certainly become a little more complicated. He hires the crew to pull off a train heist on the desolate moon Regina, but the job turns out to be more complicated than originally thought, especially when the crew learns what exactly Luchkov is after.Series

Summary
In a world in which Empaths are common and their gifts considered useful, Peter, as an Empath, is an outsider because his gift is irreversibly broken. Unable to initiate physical contact with anyone, Peter lives isolated and is forced to keep the few people in his life at a distance. His only escape is going out on patrol as Spider-Man and the friendship he developed with Deadpool as his alter ego.
Peter's life changes dramatically when he and Deadpool accidentally touch, resulting in an unexpected Empathic bond that goes against everything Peter knows about his Broken Empathy. While trying to figure out what exactly is going on between them, Peter and Wade also join forces to stop a serial killer who seems to have taken up residence in New York, unaware that Spider-Man is one of his intended targets. -

In this unremarkable surrounding, the sight of the cylindrical tank that was placed in the middle on a small pedestal and almost reached the ceiling was jarring.
It was filled with a light-blue fluid and in that fluid, chained to a ring at the bottom of the tank by his wrists and ankles was Peter. -

Summary
Ned chewed thoughtfully. “Maybe you should tell your dad what we’ve been up to and have him help us?”
“Yeah, right,” Peter scoffed. “He would kill me. I’m not supposed to do big stuff. He was very specific about that after Coney Island.”
“Maybe because you crashed a plane,” Ned replied with a shrug.Tony can handle being the dad of a teenager. It’s the whole being-a-dad-to-a-vigilante-thing that he hasn’t quite figured out yet. Especially when that vigilante insists on taking on super-villains too big for him, like the Green Goblin.

The only thing tying them all together are cargo spaceships, carrying supplies along intergalactic routes. Summary
Finding a careful truce with the government, the “rogue Avengers” are allowed to return to the Compound where they are put under house arrest. Peter coming to spend one week at the Compound during his summer break couldn’t have come at a more inconvenient time as the opportunity to bond a little more with his mentor is overshadowed by a conflict he doesn’t quite understand. When he starts to develop a mysterious medical condition, however, the former team is forced to work together – not just to protect Peter’s identity from the DODC, but also to find the cause for his illness before it’s too late.
“He’s my kid,” Tony said, his voice hoarse. “He’s my kid and I failed him.” He covered his eyes and took a few deep, shuddering breaths. “All I ever do is fail him.”
Natasha knelt down in front of him and cupped his face in her hands, waiting for him to meet her eyes before she said, “Right now, he doesn’t need you to fix this. He doesn’t need you down here. He needs you over there, in the medbay, by his side.” She thumbed tears from the corners of his eyes and ignored the ones running down her own face. “You haven’t failed him yet.”
