Summary
With the Kamino incident fresh in his mind and the Provisional Hero Licensing Exam on the horizon, Izuku Midoriya needs to be on the top of his game; but it's hard to do that when you're debating the core reasoning for your future. Everything he knows about heroism, society at large, and his own ideals is unraveling rapidly. He can't avoid the nagging sense that something is wrong, that UA isn't living up to his expectations.
What does it mean to be a hero? Does he have the strength to show the world his own definition?

Summary
He's only a kid, managing the complications of so many horrific injuries isn't easy. Especially when the effects follow him after the skin has been scarred and the school days start anew. Aizawa should have realized the kid didn't know any better.
Izuku just wants to play in a snowball fight with his classmates. His body doesn't get that memo. Lots of complications ensue.

Summary
Izuku learned that his mother was a liar at four. Monsters did exist. And he was living with one. Did that make him a monster too?
Tenko thought it was a villain at first. Some small, secret part of him hoped it would get his father. It was a villain. Just not the one he expected. And he was so, so angry. It wasn’t fair.
All Might threw himself forward as a blackish purple portal writhed, closing around two children. Not fast enough. He was barely able to pluck one of the two, pulling a white haired boy no older than eight into his arms as the portal snapped shut, only just giving him a glimpse of fluffy green hair before it was gone, cutting off the panicked cry of “stay with me!”
Villains did not have time to mourn the heroes they wished to become. He wasn’t a child anymore. Izuku had work to do.
Eraserhead would not leave the USJ alive. -

Summary
All For One has lived over 200 years. He has tried taking back his Quirk for eight generations. Battling the holders of One For All to the death hasn’t worked once. Maybe it’s time to try another strategy.
All Might is terribly injured. He will have to pass the Quirk down soon. Keeping an eye on the man isn’t as hard as the Hero wants it to be, and finding out who he chose as a successor was even easier. All All For One needed to do was wait, when the Quirk of out of All Might’s hands, taking shelter in a kid straight out of middle school. Getting the quirk from an inexperienced child would be a much better plan than hunting down trained Pro Heroes with practice using One For All.
On the day he received One For All, Izuku Midoriya never made it to the UA entrance exams.

It takes Aizawa longer than he'd like to admit for the realization to finally dawn on him, but once it settles deep in his gut, once he finally allows himself to think the words 'I'm going to die here', it's not as monumental of a moment as he'd anticipated.

“It hurts,” Izuku whispers to no one, voice thin and choked. Letting the words out makes it all feel real, and the tears he’d been holding back finally break the dam and roll down his cheeks. Wrapping his own arms around himself as he trembles in the storm of his despair is as close as he’ll be able to get to comfort right now. “It hurts, it hurts.”
He doesn’t want to have to do this alone. He’s so tired of having to push through pain alone. It’s something he’s been doing all his life, but can’t he, just once, have someone to hold him up when he stumbles?
Just once. That’s all he’s asking for.
