James knew next to nothing about skating. He couldn’t name any of the moves, didn’t know how the scoring worked. Beyond the occasional glimpse of the sport during the Olympics, he’d never watched it. He was beginning to think that was a mistake. Now that he was here in person, standing in a gigantic, chilly arena, he understood how electrifying it was to watch someone dance on the edge of a knife.
