Marinette Dupain-Cheng is very tired.
Of everything, for sure, but mostly she feels like everything is bearing down on her at once and she isn't allowed to have emoitons because she can't afford to get akumatized, not as Ladybug.
Then she gets pushed a bit too far and leaves before anything terrible can happen, and finds herself talking to her mortal enemy/nemesis.

Summary
Christmas is a time for love, joy and laughter, even if you are a superhero of Paris and have sworn off love.
23 year old Marinette Dupain-Cheng and 25 year old Adrien Agreste have never been formerly introduced yet work impeccably together as a super team, keeping Paris safe from the evil that is Shadowmoth.
Marinette has taken her guardianship to the Miracle box extremely serious, pushing love to the bottom of her to do list, whilst Adrien knows he won't get the girl he loves so has committed to supporting his two oldest friends, even if he will never get the chance to have a love of his own.
Cue two superheroes destined for each other, two kwami's at the end of their tether, an ex love hanging around, an unsupportive mother and an imminent proposal.
There is only one question left to ask; will Adrien win the girl of his dreams in 10 dates?

Marinette. Chat’s heart thrummed again, quite painfully. Marinette had been Adrien’s classmate. A shy, sweet girl that never had a proper conversation with him. Chat couldn’t really remember much of her except that time he, effectively, saved her of Nathanael. But not even that day, because his attention was on Ladybug. His attention had always been for Ladybug and when he pushed her away, winter took over Paris.
