Summary
When a different decision is made regarding the new lives of those lost in that lab in the Outskirts, the Sephira are brought into Lobotomy Corporation in new, human bodies instead of machines deprived of their memory. This, of course, changes how they coexist and live in this decrepit facility. It could be argued that they're treated better as a result. Well, except for one.

If he was so listless as to barely stir at the touch, then he must have been beyond tired. For a moment, she wondered how often he had been exhausted and, for lack of observation, the signs had passed by her like the waters of a river. That time, Hokma had only come soon after lights dimmed in the Library, signaling the end of the day. While his posture was still perfectly straight, his coughing denounced his illness and, furthermore, there was a heaviness to his gait. A slow and stiff step that in nothing resembled the brisk and calculated motions of his usual self.
He came along and asked for a cup of tea.

“Binah?” His voice came out strained despite his best attempt at keeping it steady.
Binah did not answer. Instead, she smiled, one of her painted enigmatic smiles, pressed both her hands on his chest, and pushed him onto the bed unceremoniously. His back hit the mattress and Hokma gasped, a little undignified noise from the throat. Before he could push himself up, however, she pressed her palm flat on his sternum, keeping him down as she smirked. Arrogance had no faults when she wore it like a fur coat.
Even as he scowled, truthfully he felt no shame as she took off her dress, leaving her in her black undergarments. After all, she was such a beautiful woman. So easy to follow her curves with his eyes, to settle his hands on her waist and rub his thumbs in circles. As she leaned in, Binah brushed her lips on his neck, a puff of warm breath making him shiver all over as she kissed down.
