Summary
Monsters have made their way to the surface, only to assert themselves as the dominant species. Now Humans are left to squabble amongst themselves from inside exercise pens, and storefront enclosures. You are one of those humans, living out your days from behind the glass of a display case. It's a dull life, but you don't mind it. You'll take boring any day in place of how you lived before.
Though you hadn't been there long, you figured you could get used to it. That is until a pair of rather intimidating skeletons show up, only to remove you from the quiet comfort of your display case. You don't know why, and it terrified you. All the thoughts in your head swirled as you feared a return to your old life. But then again, the shorter one carried you so carefully, and look at you with such... warmth? Adoration? Glee? you're not sure. But he certainly doesn't look at you the way others have before.
Which leaves you, perhaps foolishly wondering... if maybe this time, it won't be so bad.

Now that Bowser has been defeated and locked up, peace has returned to the Mushroom Kingdom. The Mario Bros. Plumbing business is booming and the mustached duo couldn't be happier... Except Luigi's been feeling a little down. A "Green Mario" joke started in town among the toads and Luigi can't help but feel that maybe the toads are right and he could be doing a little more to contribute.
