However, in the other universe Harry keeps his eyes open. He looks out over the hall and sees four families that were found, made, and kept in this school. In this universe, Harry decides that he doesn't care which house he ends up in, just that he’s lucky enough to find a family in whichever one he’s given. The hat takes this as answer enough and echoes his ambitious spirit over the crowd.
