In the midst of this identity crisis, Dazai sets out to explore the world with Chuuya as his grumpy bodyguard, only to discover that he has never felt so...alive. And then they find out that if they don't find a way to give him back his ability, Dazai will die within two weeks.

There are whispers that the other half of soukoku had some hand in the Demon Prodigy's escape. Rumors that the Port Mafia is weaker than it seems due to hidden subterfuge.
Chuuya was supposed to be a brief example of punishment and humiliation to shore up the mafia; hell, he even agreed to this shit. It was supposed to be temporary.
And he believed it, until all he heard were the echoes of his own screams in the darkness, beyond the reach of any who might care to listen.
