    "You look so good underneath me, baby," Kon grunts as he thrusts particularly hard. "Like you should just stay there, forever."

    And for a split second, when Tim's looking deep into his eyes, he can pretend that everything is how it should be. That the look in Kon's eyes is love, that he's consciously calling Tim those sweet pet names, that he isn't going to leave after this.

    He can't look away.

    OR: Tim and Kon have a lot of casual sex. Like, a lot. Which would be great, except Tim wants more. And Kon doesn't. (Or does he?)

    Kon dropped onto the couch with an exhausted sigh.

    "Dibs!" Bart's eyes instantly went to him.

    Bart launched himself toward the couch, flinging the enormous blanket off him in an effort to to distract and impair anyone else from the ultimate goal already sitting on the couch. Amateur work but Tim gave him a point for the enthusiasm.

    Cassie caught him by the collar before he got more than a few feet.

    "Dibs don't count in this situation," she gave him a light shake.

    "They absolutely count!" Bart insisted.

    Kon stared at Bart and Cassie bickering from the couch with an exhausted look. Then at Tim, who was standing a safe distance away and trying very hard not to look amused. The Kryptonian's expression slowly became one of resignation.

    "Are we really doing this again?"

    "Yes," Cassie and Bart said together.

    This happened every time. There were probably several perfectly reasonable ways to solve the problem. Instead, they had somehow developed a competitive system around who got to sit on the Kryptonian's lap and use him as a heated weighted blanket.

    And Tim... Tim was prepared to win.
