Despite being in the same group of friends and sharing many things in common, she did not know so many things form Keith, and that caused a deep emptiness inside her considering the circumstances. But she felt that he was too accustomed to loneliness, so his barriers were immutable if someone tried to enter by force like the case of Lance or Hunk, who were good friends almost the same week when lasses started.

No interesting audio log from Keith about his travels on some ally planet or Lance's meme that could make her smile. Either boys usually sent her something once a day.

“Stan’s gonna give me an earful for this,” he mutters. The wind is picking up and Xeno has to shield his face from the icy rain that pricks him like needles. He really wishes he could use his umbrella, but there’s no point. It would just turn over or rip apart anyway. This weather really is best avoided, he thinks as he makes his way through the campus gates. There’s barely any light, since all the shops have closed some hours ago, only the streetlights help him find his way. With visibility so low, Xeno almost doesn’t notice the tiny figure that’s huddled up in the entrance of a nearby café. He has half a mind to hurry off but curiosity has always got the better of him and so he moves closer. What he finds is a child, sitting on the floor, arms wrapped around their legs and face pressed against their knees. The child makes no sound, but Xeno can tell they’re crying.

“You’re pregnant,” Francois said firmly, their tone serious. “My guess is that you’re about eight weeks along—two months.”
This… this shouldn’t be happening.
Sure, he and Senku had spent his heat together, but the probability of conception was supposed to be low. Everyone knew that for an Alpha and male omega pair to successfully conceive, their cycles had to sync—an omega had to be in heat, and the Alpha in rut, at the same time.
Wait.
Senku had mentioned, possibly, that he was entering his rut—though it was hard to remember the exact words when their limbs were tangled together and Gen’s brain was swimming in hormones.
But honestly—who could blame him for missing that detail in the middle of everything?
