Little Obi's pretty sure the pretty girl with the grass colored eyes is just making fun of him when she asks him to come over.
When he does go over - he decides he wants to come back. He does - back, and back, and back, as they grow something grows inside with him, and he knows, he's always known, that she deserves better then what he is or what he has.
He just didn't realize how much it would hurt when she does, indeed, get something better then what he is.
