Jayce shook his head rigorously, eyes growing wide. “No, no, I saved you. You were right, the Hexcore works —”
“Look at me Jayce!” Viktor yelled. “I’m a monster!”

Still half human, Viktor is terrified at what Jayce turns him into, driving him back to Zaun. A strange mix of man, machine, and magic, Viktor's transformation into the Machine Herald begins to correct the power imbalance between the two cities.
Tensions between the two cities come to a fever pitch. The inevitable battle between Zaun and Piltover begins.

“Who are you?” she called out, taking another step.
“Always the bold one, Miss Medarda,” he said.
Mel gasped, finally placing the voice. “Viktor?”
He tipped his head slightly. “Odd. I never thought I would hear that name again. Especially from you.”
Viktor’s voice sounded distorted, as if she was hearing it from a radio.
“Why… why does your voice sound like that? Why are you wearing a mask?”
Viktor said nothing. He merely stared at her, as if she was a riddle that needed to be solved.
“A woman lost in time,” he said. -

Summary
Viktor is sent on a Mars mission, with Jayce and their newly adopted baby eagerly awaiting his return back on earth. Things take a turn for the worst when Viktor makes a shocking discovery in space. (A cosmic horror AU).

“Captain’s Log. Day 45. We have crossed the fifty million kilometer mark from Earth to Mars. The crew, although admittedly small and novice, has proven surprisingly capable. The presence of the Blitzcrank model 0927 has been of great use… seeing as they’ve been on more space walks than all three of us combined. Jinx is an excellent aviator. We ran into a small patch of asteroids that the scanners didn’t pick up but she was sharp as a knife: we didn’t even get a scratch on us. Ekko, our lead engineer, has also managed to keep everything in pristine condition. Honestly, my biggest problem is keeping the two of them from bickering over who gets the last few bits of fresh fruit we left.”
A pause. Then a heavy sigh.
“Actually… my biggest problem is how deeply I miss a certain astrophysicist back at home. I hope he knows I’m thinking about him and our new baby, Rio. Everyday. End of log, Captain Viktor Talis.” -

But when a civil war broke out between two tribes and left Namora and Attuma without families, he took them on as if they were his own flesh and blood.
Someday, they will be his most trusted generals, his fiercest of warriors. Namor looked forward to that day.
But right now, they were both seven years old and fighting over a doll. All Namor could do was pinch the bridge of his nose as the kids' yells reverberated around the water.

Jayce is going to have to see that for himself. His high income neighborhood and the prestigious, self-righteous families that attend the Church? Rubbing elbows with people in need for the holidays?
Maybe he really does need to meet Father Viktor. And shake his hand.

Or: Jayce comes home for the holidays after a breakup to find a new priest at his childhood Catholic church. Father Viktor is not the kind of person Jayce ever expected to be a priest, but he has a dream to change Jayce's hometown for the better, and he decides to do everything he can to help. The more he helps, the more Jayce sees glimpses of Viktor, the man, not the priest. And the more glimpses he sees of Viktor, the more Jayce is so, so fucked.

“I do not recall telling you my name.” Viktor stated matter-of-factly. “Yet you know it. Have we met?” Yes. Many times. Practically lived together inside their lab, but he couldn’t tell Viktor that. No, this Viktor had no idea who Jayce really was, and he intended on keeping it that way.
Jayce stumbled on his own thoughts trying to find an answer. Shit. Viktor is right, he wasn’t supposed to tell Jayce his name until later in his apartment. Damn it. “Uh—“ he stalled as he tried to think of a lie. “H-Heimerdinger had mentioned you once. You’re his assistant, right? Snarky Undercity kid with an accent? Not many other people here who fit that description.”

After the Hexcore collapsed, Jayce gets sent back to where it all started, the day he met Viktor, but Viktor seems to have no recollection of him. What happens when Jayce gets another chance, knowing what he knows now.
My take on Season 2 Jayce with Season 1 Viktor until Viktor eventually remembers everything and they live happily ever after because I refuse to give these two any more sad endings!
No idea how many chapters this will have, we're just gonna roll with it until the dopamine stops.

Summary
The Machine Herald is captured by Piltover after a failed attack on the bridge, and he is mortally wounded in the process. Jayce must risk everything to save him and repair the damage done, racing against the clock as Piltover hunts him down for treason, but the history between them complicates things. Despite his claims that his actions are no longer dictated by emotion, Viktor is still harboring anger and hatred for his exile in the wake of Jinx's attack, and blames Jayce for what happened. But despite it all, they still care about each other (in their own violent, traumatized ways) and as time runs out, necessity forces them to face the past—and each other—if they want to get out of this unscathed.
