The words are tremulous with emotion, rushing and almost painful for how they scrape past her teeth, and still, even she knows they sound petulant—a child’s concern. But she is loud, and more than that, she’s right. All Azula has ever wanted is the respect of standing at her father’s side and—pitifully—the love inherent to the honor. She can’t lose it when she’s this close.
But then Azula’s father steps towards her, and his fist is wreathed in fire, the temperature of his flame so hot it’s blue—her blue—where it’s closest to his skin.

Rule three: He could not let Lucretia go through with her plan.
And finally, probably the hardest one to keep by far,Rule four: He could not see his family.
Attacking a cooking show assistant in the back of a small caravan, Barry blows his last rule out of the goddamn water. And then he keeps breaking it. It might just be worth it though. Even without his memories, Barry could use Taako's help now more than ever.

It makes sense, his mother tells him when he's nine: Jack's such a physical person, of course his indicator would be his soulmate's pain. Jack doesn't have anything to say about it, really, he just scowls and winces as his soulmate falls down again. Alicia Zimmermann, whose heterochromia reversed itself upon laying eyes on Bob for the first time, because she’s more passionate about visual media, pats him on the shoulder with a completely insufficient amount of sympathy. Jack's backside is sore for months as the falls keep happening, and he can only think that somewhere, his soulmate must be learning how to skate.

Eric Bittle, of Bitty's Bakery, is very excited to have been chosen as a contestant for the Food Network Challenge. He's even more excited to find out that he's making a cake for the NHL new-Cup winners, the Falconers.
Jack Zimmerman, of the Falconers, doesn't know anything about cake, and will be the first to tell you that he feels wholly unqualified to judge a cake-making competition. At least Alexei is there to help ease things a little. Honestly, all he's really expecting is to be very awkward on camera for the entire segment, and to eat a lot of cake that's not really in his diet plan.

My take on the Soulmate AU. First chapters will set the science/theory behind in through storytelling as we get information about our favorite hockey team as they finally come together. Eric Bittle learns of soulmates from his Moomaw and secretly yearns to find his while for Jack Zimmermann dealing with the pressure of his family name isn't looking for a soulmate, not after he thought he found it in a certain blonde hockey player. Along the way to Samwell, both of them meet others who help them see that soulmates are not exactly what they thought they were when they were growing up.
