Summary
He supposed the ‘right thing’ to do would’ve been to take the flash drive he found to the library’s front counter, but Kaminari wasn’t sure he’d ever been known for having good ideas. He instead decided to plug it into the computer he was using to see if it had any name attached to it.
It didn’t. He really, really hadn’t been expecting what was on that little, old USB drive.
He also hadn't expected it to belong to Bakugou.

Summary
It wasn’t the first time he was subjected to a shouting match between Lae’zel and Shadowheart, though surely it was one of the strangest ones yet. Perhaps it had been because of his comment to Shadowheart not a few days before about the githyanki’s flirting methods, but where before their annoyance for one another was as obvious as their attraction, now there was something about the way they were looking at each other that left one a bit embarrassed to witness it.
He was watching it one night when he felt a warmth grow behind him. A warmth that was less internal and more external. The feeling of Karlach approach was something that they’d all grown used to over their brief time traveling together.

Summary
Once, this wouldn't have been a problem. Once, Talon wouldn't have gone weak at the knees for bright blue eyes and golden hair. Once, he didn't have a corruption making songs in his viens that influenced his thoughts.
But he wasn't that demon any longer, and the dawn where the Harbingers would come to meet the Sulfur Rail was fast approaching, and on the train he was bound to was a Doctor and a stowaway who's story wasn't finished. Who didn't belong in this world of angels and demons and those inbetween. They belonged somewhere else with a bond of friendship that not even the King of the Sulfur Rail himself could have broken.

How to Make Friends that Make Enemies
Craig didn't take on cases he wasn't confident he'd solve. He had bills to pay, debt to clear, he didn't have time to be wasting.
He wasn't confident he'd solve this case. Identifying the person who had attempted to murder Kyle Broflovski, one of the city's most influential crime lords. He was confident that saying no to someone like Kyle would be more trouble than it was worth.

Summary
Gale got on with Lae'zel. He enjoyed her willingness to indulge him in questions, and to answer them directly. There were things he never knew he'd get the opportunity to learn about her people and he was never one to turn down knowledge.
Except for maybe this. Maybe he would have preferred she kept this opinion to herself.

Summary
It had been an offhanded comment he made to Wyll during their first conversation on the road together. Spoken to make conversation and fill the silence with something other than thoughts of their impending fates.
He hadn't expected Wyll to really remember his fondness for Lanceboard, or to turn up one evening with a board and an offer to play a game or three over conversations of their developing relationships within the camp.

Summary
It was nice to find a vendor that carried a modest stock of books with them. It gave Gale plenty of opportunity to find new reads for his travels. The one that they had stopped at this time had a modest selection, though there was one that stuck out to him more than the others. Why it stuck out to him was a question he wasn't quite willing to admit, no matter how apparent the answer was.
After all, this was a vampire romance book. There could only be so many excuses he could come up with to deny the obvious.

Summary
Gale was known to stay up too late reading. Long after Karlach’s snores started to rumble the air, or Lae’zel’s weapons practice wore her down. After Astarion had departed camp to go find his prey for the night.
What was unusual was for him to still be awake by the time Astarion returned to camp. The noise took him by surprise. It was enough to make him put his book down with a frown as he tried to focus in on the noise.

Summary
It was a simple idea. To share a book he enjoyed with a companion. There was no intention for it to be construed as anything other than friendly. His enthusiasm for sharing this particular book with this particular companion was merely an indication of how well they were getting on compared to their rocky start. Not that there was something about their friendship that was any less friendly than their other companions.
Yet, when Astarion flirted with him across the campfire, he found himself responding in kind.

Summary
Unwrapping the puzzle that was understanding the half truths and hidden meanings in Astarion's words was challenging to say the least. But Gale found he quite enjoyed a challenge, even if it did lead him to making decisions that he still wasn't sure were correct. Yet, he didn't mind.
He was willing to change his sleeping arrangements for Astarion. It was hard not to grow fond of the people that you travelled with. That you shared with.

Summary
As Wyll tells Gale his intention to oversee Shadowheart and Lae'zel to encourage a bond of friendship between the two, Gale is left with the feeling that, despite how frequently he travelled with Wyll so far, he and Astarion were both about to find themselves staying watch at camp a whole lot more.
At first the day started as normal; Astarion returned to his tent to busy himself with whatever vanities he usually did, but Gale would also usually move to his own tent as opposed to preparing food at the heart of their camp. The heart of their camp also happened to be next to Astarion’s tent.
Apparently, having someone within his line of sight encouraged Astarion to bother them.

Summary
It was only natural, Gale supposed, in a party like theirs. When you had a group of strangers who were so unlike each other they were bound to split into small groups and pairs as they found common interests between each other. Upon each of them entering camp there were people each of them gravitated to. He was comfortable in the direction they were all heading, companionship wise.
Gale thought he had it all figured out until suddenly he didn’t.
Until suddenly, he was walking next to Astarion. Frequently.

Cryle Week Day 1
At the school fair, Kyle is stationed on looking after the Tarot Card Reading booth that they're running as punishment for vandalising the gymnasium. His only break is used to convince his definitely-just-friend Craig to get a reading - for free.
Kenny's reading is a little too targeted.

Prompt:
Your roommate is the serial killer on the news. However, he's probably one of the nicest people you know, and he's very respectful, discreet, and moral in his deeds. Neither of you really bring it up until one day he says, "I'm bored. Got anyone in mind for me to...y'know?"
