Summary

“Hey guys,” an unfamiliar female voice spoke in a familiar intonation. “Looks like we’re stuck!”
“Kim?” Marinette asked in disbelief, and froze at the sound of her own male voice. This meant that she didn’t imagine it, and she really felt some other parts of the body that she didn’t have before. “I’ll get you out now...” The man Marinette became croaked, irritated at the fact that Felix was still standing in place, his back pressed tightly against his front, and wasn’t leaving the locker. “Hey Fathom, do you mind?!”
“Don’t make promises you can’t keep,” an unfamiliar female voice snorted in the tight space of the locker, reminding Marinette that the blond’s gender was also just changed. “Our door is stuck, too."

Felix sat in his favorite, oversized armchair in front of the fire, a book of poetry in one hand while the other toyed with a cup of mulled cider. But, despite having the perfect holiday moment, Felix was annoyed.
Most people who didn’t know him well - which, granted, included most of the people with whom he worked and was otherwise forced to socialize with - would have considered annoyance Felix’s baseline emotion. Some would even go so far as to say he had none, that he was nothing but a modern day Scrooge who despised the holiday and all its trappings and useless traditions.
And they would not be entirely wrong.
But they were also the ones who had never seen him with Marinette.

Something was wrong.
And that’s not including the fact that Felix Fathom had just pounced on her with kisses.
Something was wrong with him.
With his head, perhaps? Maybe Felix hit his head hard on something and his mind clouded? Or was he hit by some kind of Cupid-like Akuma, and fell in fake love with her against his will? Or was it Felix from some other dimension, and in that dimension he dated another Marinette? It was difficult to imagine that such a reality where they would be together could exist, of course, but it would at least somehow explain the absurdity that was happening.
And… Did he actually call her ‘love’ a couple of minutes ago?

“Hey, Fathom,” she whispered to him menacingly, “Move your leg, it’s bothering me!”
His lips curved into a smug grin. “Won’t even dream of it,” he whispered in response, turning his head slightly towards her without taking his eyes off the screen. “I’m quite comfortable the way I sit. You can change seats if you’re dissatisfied here.” He added, and it seems his grin became even wider.
Marinette narrowed her eyes at him, not intending to give up even on his territory. “Enjoying yourself, aren’t you?” She challenged, preparing for the fight. “I’m quite comfortable, too,” she assured him smugly and swung the leg his knee was touching right over his thigh so that it now hung between his spread legs.
A grin slipped from his lips and Felix looked down from the screen and stared intently at her leg between his thighs, then looked up at Marinette with a level, unreadable gaze.
“What, Fathom, is there something that doesn’t suit you anymore?” Marinette asked, raising her eyebrows.

“And why would I bring coffee for all of them?” He asked with an annoyed voice, finally slipping the cup into her hand and letting it go.
“And why would you bring coffee for me?” She asked with the same suspicion with which she was still looking at the cup of heavenly drink in her hands, which instantly warmed her palms in the chilly London wind.
“Lest you fall asleep on my shoulder and wrinkle my suit, obviously.” Felix replied as if it should’ve been understood even without explanation, and got on the bus, walking past her.
Oh.
Right.
That explains it...
Of course the coffee he brought was just to keep his flawless suit flawless! And how even for a second it could have seemed to her that Felix Fathom – always cold and impartial – was capable of caring for someone other than himself.

“I don’t feel like I’m in trouble.” The man said in a serious voice, and took her hand, causing Marinette to turn to face him again and her lips part, drawing in air. “Will it sound weird if I said that I can’t help but feel like we’ve met before?”
“Would it sound weird if I said I felt the same?” She spoke softly, mesmerized by his eyes and the magic of the moment.
The man’s gaze slid down to her lips and Marinette caught her breath. She, too, was staring at his lips, and her mouth went completely dry...
