Tommy never understood why Phil didn't want him to attend Summit University. Phil was an alum, his older brothers, Techno and Wilbur, were both going there, his best friend, Tubbo, was going there. Everyone he cared about called it their second home. The college was nothing special- about what you'd expect with some old brick buildings, fancy stem classrooms, and shity dorms. But something about the university called to Tommy. Called to make him something more. Maybe he'd learn why his dad was so uneasy about letting him attend. Or maybe he'd prove them all wrong and make his own path.

“I need to find Kacchan! He’s going to be upset!” The tiny Midoriya says and takes off back into what’s left of the smoke.
“Deku-kun! Get back here!” Uraraka shouts after him, stumbling to follow.
“Deku-kun!” She calls again, and she’s once again in the fog. If she has to breathe one more mouth full of this foul air she'll cough out a lung. She ducks her head below the fog and looks around, turning in circles until she spots red and green in the distance. “Deku-kun!” She calls again, but she's a little too far away for him to pick up her voice. She runs towards him. As she gets closer, she can hear him speaking.
“It’s okay, Kacchan! I’m here now!”
She gasps where she hears another child’s voice response grumpily. “You were gone, Zuzu! And there were all those people, they could have kidnapped you! I outwitted them and they didn’t get me and I was going to come rescue you! You shouldn’t run off without me, dumb Zuzu!”

It was a normal day for Izuku Midoryia. Everyone went through their usual classes and nothing was out of order. His birthday was only a few days away. Everything was happy and he was content. Until of course, he got a call from an unknown number.

He decided it’d be the perfect time to piss his friend off.
“Hello?”, he asked, smiling as Katsuki turned to glare at him.
“Izuku”, the voice said, dark and low. Izuku? Did he know this person?
His once smiling face turned into a confused frown and his eyebrows knit together. Katsuki watched his changing expression and made everyone shut up with only a fierce look.
“Um, I’m sorry. May I ask who’s speaking?”
“It’s me, my boy”.
