Jeremy didn’t try to meet his gaze, instead he hummed in thought. He leaned his head to Jean’s shoulder, the blond bedhead tickling the underside of his jaw.

“Neil knows what I want,” Andrew snaps. This is not Andrew’s fault.
“How do you know?”
Because Neil always knows. He is as fluent in Andrew’s micro-expressions as he is in German and French. He knows which head tilts mean “go on” and which ones mean “shut up.” Without ever asking, he learned what it meant to see Andrew wearing double layers of long sleeves, or taking multiple showers in a day, and learned to hand Andrew the car keys.
That has always been the most terrifying thing about Neil — his patience to wait, watch, listen, learn. The prospect that if Neil were given enough time, there would be no part of Andrew that was just Andrew’s anymore.
“He has to know,” Andrew says.
“Does he?” Renee says. “Have you ever known Neil to assume that he is wanted?”
Five times Neil tells someone that he and Andrew aren’t dating, and one time Andrew uses his words to set the record straight.

Summary
Kageyama Tobio is a professional racing driver, the new rookie sensation who's about to take home the Piston Cup in his first year.
But a race run recklessly leads to an unprecedented three-way tie, and a tie breaker race is set for a week's time. On the way to the International Speedway, Kageyama gets lost, and ends up crashing into Karasuno Springs - a small country town in the middle of nowhere, ruining their main road in the process. Forced to stay and fix it, Kageyama feels the whole thing is a waste of time, until he meets the town's handyman - Hinata Shouyou, a local dirt track racer.
They're very different, but a shared passion for racing draws Kageyama in, as he tries to work out why Hinata is just a handyman in the first place despite his talent for racing. And over the course of the week he ends up discovering that maybe there's more to life than winning races all by himself.

Ash discovers Eiji can lift him easily and develops a slight obsession.
Ash feels bad about upsetting him, but they have to be realistic. “Oh come on, Eiji. We both know you can’t even lift me.”
“I was an athlete, Ash.” Eiji says with narrowed eyes. “I assure you, I can lift you.”
Ash raises his eyebrows at him. “Well, then be my guest.”
Of course he doesn’t expect Eiji to call him on his bluff. He prepares himself to laugh it as a joke, waits for Eiji to throw him his familiar teasing smile.
Ash watches in a dazed haze as Eiji leans forward to gather him in his arms, easily lifts him from his chair and carries him to his room without even showing the smallest sign of a struggle. He gently puts Ash to his bed and steps back.
“Well, what do you think now?” he asks smugly.

Yuuta knows. As he’d prepared to leave Shoko’s clinic for the meeting, Maki had pulled him aside and uttered words filled with such certainty he’d gone cold.
They took Toge. We can’t leave him there, Yuuta, they’ll kill him—if they haven’t already.
He doesn’t know much about Toge’s childhood—only what he’s been able to piece together from context and the few hints Toge’s willingly offered—but he doesn’t need to have the gory details to understand that most children born into a high-standing jujutsu clan do not lead easy lives. If Maki says that Toge is in danger in his family home, then Yuuta doesn’t need any more reason to retrieve him.
He was too late to help before. He won’t be again.

Summary
It’s in the middle of scanning the last bottle of green tea that Itadori properly looks up. Eye contact with him is a physical, unexpected shock, a crunch of imaginary static snapping through Megumi and leaving his hands twitching at his sides.
"Hey." Itadori blinks, wide and earnest. "Do I know you from somewhere?"
The tea sloshes backwards in the bottle he’s holding. Megumi focuses on this until his vision steadies.
"No," he says. "I don’t think so."
In the aftermath, Itadori loses his memories instead of his life. Megumi grieves nonetheless.

Itadori can’t seem to stop giggling beneath him, lips stretched in a wide grin that shows his teeth and scrunches his eyes at the corners; his nose is cherry red with cold, snowflakes scattered across his pink cheeks like freckles. His obnoxious hat was lost during their roughhousing so his hair is covered in snow, stuck to his forehead and mussed at the crown. When he opens his eyes again to look at Megumi, his smile eases into something softer, something that catches him off guard.
He’s so beautiful it steals the remaining breath from Megumi’s lungs.
“Gross.” An armful of snow is dropped on their heads from above in the next second, courtesy of Kugisaki. She wipes her hands together as if she’s done a job well done before settling them on her hips and cocking a brow at them. “Get up lovebirds, I wanna build a snowman.”
