Summary
He knows his name, Uzumaki Naruto, but what does it mean? Where does Uzumaki come from? Is that really even his name? It can’t be a standard name they give orphans, because even when he still stayed in the orphanage, he was the only one with that name. Plenty of kids had no last name at all, which makes it more believable that Uzumaki is his real family name.
But what does that mean? Who are the Uzumaki? Is he the only one left? How can he find out? Were his family shinobi? Merchants? Regular civilians?
He is determined to find out.

Classmates would talk about what they wanted to be — in hushed tones, since it wasn’t considered a polite subject for children—and could spend hours discussing why they were so sure they were an alpha or how this one thing that happened this one time definitely meant they were an omega.
