There's no time to think about all that, though- You've been sent down to someplace called the 'Hadal Blacksite' in search of a crystal called 'Z-2', and when you find it you have to bring it back to the people who sent you here.
You fail, and you die.
Then... You wake up.
You return to the Blacksite- and you die again.

This story is plot-driven, and a very VERY slow burn. The prologue chapter can be safely skipped in its entirety; it is the only chapter written that way. Shiba Kaien has no idea what to do with his baby cousin who refuses to be a part of their family, no matter how hard Kaien tries.
