Summary
Ilya stepped towards Shane and when he didn’t step back, Ilya took the opportunity to wrap him in his arms.
“I just wanted you to know that it would be okay if you did need to do that.” He wanted to make sure that he said the right thing so that Shane wouldn’t be spooked. He had already fucked this up severely. But even then, Shane deserved to know everything.
“I don’t believe in cheating.” Shane stilled in his arms before he finished with, “I don’t own you Shane.”
Everything in Shane’s face shattered and Ilya knew that despite his attempts he had said something terribly wrong.
Shane turned on his heel and hauled ass out of the bedroom. By the time Ilya could catch up to him, he was gone.
And now Ilya was speeding to Montreal because four days was far too long for comfort.
OR the one where Ilya tells Shane he can see other people and then regrets it.

Ilya’s head whips towards Shane with a small smile. “Nice? I am just nice to you, Hollander?”
“Hey, that’s you too now, don't forget it.”
“See. I marry you and you say that I am ‘nice’? Just nice?” he complains but he’s smiling all the while and Shane can’t look away as he turns back to the road.
(ie. all comfort no hurt, shane is turned on by a compentency kink when ilya flexes in front of his parents and then has to do something about it)

But the physical calendar that Shane stuck up on their fridge was different, it was what Ilya had nicknamed, their sexy Shane calendar. Although they did write some work related events on it to not draw suspicion, it was first and foremost used to indicate when Shane wanted Ilya to use him. For Ilya to take what he wanted, whenever and wherever. This would be indicated by a red square drawn around the numbered date of whichever day Shane has chosen.
