Summary
Meredith and Nick, two orphans living in a group home, have known each other forever. They were always inseparable, not even the four year age gap between them could tear that friendship apart. But something did, something bigger than them. When Meredith is eleven, she gets adopted by a nice family and he convinces her to go enjoy her new life. Under one condition: they will be allowed to see each other once a year on Christmas day. And for the first few years it works, even though they are inevitably growing apart since she’s now the daughter of a wealthy doctor and he doesn’t even know what he’ll do after he turns eighteen. One day they have a big fight over this and Nick stops showing up on Christmas day. Little by little Meredith learns to live without him. But she doesn’t know that this was just the beginning of their story… Years later her world is turned upside down again, and the December she now faces will change her life forever once again.

Meredith goes to see Nick to apologize for thinking the worst, and to explain to him why she is having a complicated time when it comes to moving.
The conversation I feel the show will never give, where Meredith actually talks about DC, and how her marriage had been falling apart, for a while before her late husband died, even if they had agreed to try again.

Summary
Percy and Annabeth are enjoying their lovely (though slightly awkward) dinner with Annabeth's parents on a fully normal Friday evening. Then, completely out of the blue, both their godly parents decide it's time for a visit, and show up bickering like an old married couple. As expected, chaos ensues :')
"Ugh, Barnacle Beard, this is all your fault! Look at that poor cake! It's just like that time when you sunk Atlantis-"
"Hey, Wise Girl. Please tell me this is how your nightmares start. Because it can't be one of mine, I checked. And this can't be actually happening, can it?"
"Sometimes it's hard to remember she's the goddess of wisdom and not dramatic exits. Those are the moments that I'm reminded she's my little brother's daughter."
PS: First story I finished and published anywhere, and English isn't my first language- so don't expect a masterpiece of literature. I'd be super happy if some people would read it and give me some constructive critiscism :3

Transporting in front of Zeus's and Hera's thrones, he was dripping wet and rolling his eyes. "What is it now Zeus? Did some mortal woman reject you or something?" Poseidon poked, enjoying to see his brother's and sister's face turn bright red.
"No you fool! What is this I hear of you and Athena being best friends? Last time I heard, you hated each other."
Hearing why Zeus was so enraged, Poseidon started to laugh, like knee-slapping laugh. "It has been a century Zeus, and you are just realizing this? Look, you just interrupt my time with Athena actually. I was teaching her how to surf and she's teaching me different things about the sea creatures that loiter in my oceans, so if you don't mind, I'll be leaving now."
