Summary
If asked, AJ Harper would say he is 12 out of 10. He's a biotic, an N7, the best of the best. Ask anyone else, and they'll tell you that he's a fuck up and an utter jerk. Even though Harper could be a natural leader and excellent tactician, he's overconfident and reckless at best and ruthlessly efficient at worst; Harper may get the job done but he's no one's favorite squadmate. So it's no shock that he's passed over in favor of Commander "Can Do No Wrong" Shepard for what could be the opportunity of a lifetime.
Civil unrest is rising, with many questioning humanity's intrusion into galactic politics. The Systems Alliance finds itself tangled in bureaucratic red tape as it struggles to ensure the safety of its citizens, especially those on the edges of the Terminus frontier—but when the other race's colonies are threatened, the Council agrees to step in and authorizes several new projects. Imagine Harper's surprise when he is chosen to co-lead an interplanetary task force alongside civilian Director Julian Stoker with the vaguest mission ever: stabilize the galaxy.
At least Harper can take comfort in that his ship is bigger than Shepard's.

Midoriya Izuku has always been written off as weird. As if it's not bad enough to be the quirkless weakling, he has to be the weird quirkless weakling on top of it.
But truthfully, the "weird" part is the only part that's accurate. He's determined not to be a weakling, and in spite of what it says on paper, he's not actually quirkless. Even before meeting All-Might and taking on the power of One For All, Izuku isn't quirkless.
Not that anyone would believe it if he told them.
