Or, alternatively, the universe is a diabolical Cupid abundantly bored to set two not-so-strangers up on the most fortuitous parent trap as told through a series of tweets, social media cold wars, and texts.

The feeling was enough to overpower the rude and hurtful comments of the hockey team who shared their rink. But they're teenagers in high school. All dealing with their own problems day by day. Dealing with love and heartbreak. But all that seemed to go away when they were skating until Tōru meets a new hockey team member. Someone who catches his eye. Someone who's life he turns upside down.

Summary
Suga finds himself slumped over a desk in an almost empty classroom. He refuses to look up, focusing solely on the math homework he got a few hours ago. A few hours before his perfect record was destroyed.
"You're going to hurt yourself if you keep staring daggers at that piece of paper." A voice sounds in the room, breaking the silence. Suga looks up and over to his right, glare still present as his eyes land on the only other student in the room.
Sawamura Daichi.
The classic delinquent who, in Suga's opinion, officially ruined his life. He has a stupid smirk present on his face as he sits on top of a desk, doodling something in a notebook. Maybe it was a sketchbook. Suga doesn't care either way, he's still pissed off. "Would it help if I apologized or would you like to continue giving yourself a headache." Suga's glare doesn't let up, if anything it grows colder.
"Fuck off."

Summary
Some people develop powers as they grow older; others don't. This fact doesn’t bother Oikawa Tooru too much, at least not when he’s young. Then, at eight years old, Iwaizumi Hajime discovers his own ability. He’s stronger than anyone could be, given human limitations. It’s a broad and useful power, one that could take Iwaizumi down any number of paths in the future. He’s discovered his ability early, too, and all of the adults in the neighborhood say that he’s got a bright future ahead of him.
Oikawa could’ve told them that ages ago—he’s always known Iwaizumi is special, long before he started being able to lift furniture with one hand. Everything Iwaizumi does, Oikawa has always done with him. So he goes home and waits for his own ability to manifest.
Nearly ten years later, on the eve of the last tournament of his high school volleyball career, he’s still waiting.

Summary
oikawa tooru, a household name after his recent victory in the olympics, had finally returned home after a year and a half of specialized training abroad. though his father urged him to take a nice relaxing break, he couldn’t resist getting in some extra skating practice before training starts again. in attempt to not be caught “overworking” (papa you’re exaggerating!!) he finds a rink used by a college hockey team.
iwaizumi hajime was losing it. after their loss to varsity, the arrogant seniors who insisted the hockey team be split into varsity and junior varsity (hey why do we get demoted to junior?!) the whole team was in a slump. their grumpy new coach didn’t help either, i mean come ON, demoting iwaizumi of his position as captain?? and to make things even worse, not only did varsity get 4 days of the rink and jv only getting 3, some prissy figure skater somehow wooed their strict headmaster to let him use the rink during THEIR time!!
the worst part about it was how annoyingly pretty the figure skater was!!

Atsumu is acutely aware that he is different, especially as he looks around at the people he is expected to resemble. Everyone around him is elegant, intelligent, powerful, and, most importantly, straight.
