Liam wanted to do it. He wanted to kiss Theo Raeken. He noticed Theo's eyes fluttering down to his lips and he thought for a split second that the chimera would do it. He thought the chimera was actually going to kiss him. But nothing happened, the lift doors opened revealing hunters with guns shooting at them. Then Liam never saw Theo again.

Having used his time to killed off the monsters who dictated his life, in that action he lost the twisted guidance that he so desperately needed. He looked to Liam, once merely a name in faded ink printed on old paper, now potentially something that could ease Theo's mind.
Could be salvation from this dread inside of him.

Theo didn’t answer, he didn’t look at him, it was as if he wasn’t even there. He just stared into the void.
Liam began to disinfect the wound, running some cotton over the cut skin, noting with some horror the clear marks of his fangs.
“It's useless” Theo muttered at that point, heartbroken.
“Theo-”
“It’s poisonous,” the vampire spat out, shaking his head, “the problem isn’t the wound.”
“Poisonous?” Liam asked, his eyes widening.
“Yes” Theo nodded, “yes, Liam, God, have you ever read a book?” he then asked exasperatedly, running his hand over his wound again “a werewolf bite is poisonous to a vampire. I’m a vampire. You’re a werewolf. You bit me.”
