"So why did you? Too many attitude problems that you couldn't get hired on at some professional big city hospital?" Kyle's not sure what's possessed him to antagonize Craig, he doesn't have a death wish nor does he want to get punched, he remembers how hard Craig could hit at age ten, he can only imagine how much harder he can hit now.

Hannibal had never been particularly close to his neighbors, but he was cordial and polite so long as they were, but when Mrs. Rickard moved a few months after her husband's passing someone new moved in. The man was in the nicest way possible rude and messy, and Hannibal disliked him entirely.
He didn't respond to morning greetings, he often parked in front of Hannibal's home instead of his own and worst of all he had dogs, seven of them to be exact. Hannibal shared a fence in his backyard with this man and his seven dogs. He would let them roam freely in and out of the house at all hours. They were loud and a few of them liked to dig at the fence causing a mess on Hannibal's side as well.

Will froze. Absolutely froze.
His hand was buried in Mike Wheeler’s hair. Mike - who was practically draped over him now - looked blissful. Borderline euphoric. His eyes had fluttered half-shut. There was a tiny, content smile on his lips.
Will stared down at him, heart doing somersaults.
“Uh,” Will said intelligently.
Mike made another sound - soft, almost dreamy - and nudged Will’s hand, encouraging, needy without even realising it.
Will’s brain short-circuited.

Stan made a considering face.

The room shook and Stan had the gall to just look annoyed at it.
“Listen,” he continued, looking up at him. “You’re still in the deadlights, Rich.” He actually looked like he pitied Richie. “You're still in Neibolt.”
Pile of human teeth be damned - Richie dropped into the beanbag chair.
“Shit,” he breathed.
