He couldn't help but entertain the thought of what would happen if he could defy the pull of the trigger, if he could maybe surrender to those unbelievable blues.
As if a devious god had answered Nigel’s wishful thinking, and destiny refused to let him linger in possibility, a sharp blow struck the back of his head in the next heartbeat.
The ground tilted. His vision blurred as he fell forward, collapsing at Adam’s feet.
And as the darkness closed in, the last thing he saw was those terrified blue eyes finally meeting his own.

Adam wasn’t sure he was ‘good’ at school, he hated the place most of the time. The schedule and teachers were alright, it was the people, the other students, that were the problem. “I get good grades,” he decided on, “Mainly science and math. Why?”
“I’m failing.”
“Oh.”
This was the problem with other students.
“I’m sorry?,” he tried awkwardly when Nigel eyed him with and expectant look. Adam stared right back, or well, at the perimeter of his left ear.
“I’m not giving you any answers,” said Adam finally after a few moments of silence and he watched Nigel raise his brows in response.
“No, Raki, I want you to help me study.”
Now it was Adam’s turn to look at him in shock.

"Oh, pretty witchling," Nigel grins, teeth like a shark's, stained so faintly red that Adam never would have noticed if he wasn't so close. "Every fuckin' pleasure in the world. All yours, if you want it. I could fill you to bursting, fuck you so good you'd be ruined for anyone, anything, after me." He's speaking low; a tentacle caressing his ankle, lips pressed up against Adam's ear. It sends a shiver through him, and Nigel feels it; squeezes his leg tighter, smiles into Adam's neck.
It's a bit of a struggle to find his breath, but Adam manages: "You're talking about sex. You're asking if I want to have sex with you."
Nigel snorts, a hot huff of air into his collarbone. "Yeah, gorgeous. Mother-fuckin' sex."
