“Well, now you know." The blond rounded the bar, "What will you have, mon chéri?". He went to the cupboard and arrived with his arms full of food that the nimble hands of the trio had not touched.
“Sanji, stop it," Usopp muttered, blushing at the stupid nicknames that, though he didn't like to admit it, made his heart race.
“ Then what will it be... “ Rambled turning on the stove and ignoring Usopp” A grilled fish, a Mediterranean salad with our own tomatoes or a pasta with Neapolitan sauce...” He turned around with a dangerous smile on his face "My menu is infinite, as long as it is for mon petit ami...”

Their time has passed. That window of opportunity was missed two years ago, when they were different people under different circumstances. He needs to accept that. Like ships that pass in the night, whose paths only intersect for a moment in the vast expanse of the ocean before they continue their respective journeys, they had a chance of something more which they lost to the turbulent waters of their journey and the passage of time.

Summary
Usopp isn’t a poor kid anymore, scraping together a living off charity and odd jobs at the wharf and darning the same pair of overalls for the tenth time so he could visit Kaya without holes in his knees. He knows that. He reminds himself of that every damn day.
It’s just, sometimes, Sanji tells him to stack the plates a certain way or reminds him that salad forks exist and Usopp sees a flash of Kaya’s gold-rimmed teacups and immaculate dinner trays and he remembers how impossible it all is. It doesn’t matter if Usopp is a man or a woman: he was never going to be the kind of person that the pretty blonde with the perfect manners falls in love with.

Sanji gives Usopp a lesson on fine dining etiquette. It would probably be easier to follow if Usopp’s insecurities didn’t keep interrupting so loudly.

Jean doesn't know much about One Piece. Most, all of it really, of her knowledge came from her classmate from highschool. After waking up on a small island as Sanji, she wished she listened more. Turns out Sanji was adopted, his bio dad wasn't Zeff.
But she understands that her classmate probably didn't know and it got revealed later. Maybe they did say it and she ignored them. Well, it doesn't matter, Sanji had no plans on seeing her bio family now. They hated her, so they would likely ignore her and she would ignore them too.
When she met her future husband and her future crew, she decided following canon won't be too bad. Zoro was a handsome man, but she will make sure he bathed more.
(Hint: Her classmate was a ZoSan shipper.)

This time around, they'll have a Sea King to guard the ship, one who has way too much knowledge on their hands. If only Aftail could speak!

Usopp heard a chuckle, and what he saw became warmer. Like the way someone’s face lit up because something made them happy. Usopp could not have evoked that feeling.
He could see through his father’s eyes it seemed.“Finally noticed, you little knucklehead?”
The 17-year-old swallowed loudly. He did not know whether to laugh or cry. He finally got to talk to his old man and yet he was amid a fight with a fish man who could turn him into human gumbo. Usopp’s legs were jelly at this point because they shook so bad and he had been running so far and so much.
“Wh- who are you?” he asked aloud. “You aren’t going to help—”
“I’m not going to help you lose,” the older man said. “I’m going to help you win.”
“Wh- why?”
“I am your father.”
Otherwise, Usopp and Yasopp could always see through each other’s eyes. And maybe, just maybe, Red Hair’s sniper isn’t such a deadbeat dad. Twilight meets the center, after all.

Summary
On Sabaody Archipelago, the nine were separated, sent to nine different locations to train, to grow stronger for the New World.
Usopp was sent to the Boyn islands, but he didn't know that. When he came there, he didn't know anything, and he was alone. No teacher, no friendly face, no one to save him and accompany him. No one to keep him from sinking into hollow isolation. He spent two years there, on an island where everything tried to kill him and all he could do was hide and try to survive. When all is said and done, he's hardly the apex predator there. No, unlike Luffy, raw strength did not save him here. But he did survive. And he does escape.
A mistake in his flying gear, aka a very large ant, left him stranded in the middle of the Grand Line. Luckily, he is found by Sanji on the revolutionary ship, and he is rescued. But he isn't alright, and Sanji notices this. Usopp needs to learn to heal, and perhaps, if things go just right, to love.

Usopp, for his own part, could hardly believe he'd ever wanted to be a pirate. With scum like Buggy the Pirate roaming the Blues, nobody can ever be truly safe! If capturing that evil pirate('s heart) meant chasing him through the Grand Line all the way to Raftel, so be it.
He'd get as strong as he needed to do it, too.

Whether or not the crew decides to stick with him despite the amount his hidden from them is up to them as his secrets, literally, come back to haunt him. Usopp may have to reveal more than he'd ever want in order to save himself and everyone he holds dear.
