It's no surprise to anyone that Sina walls contain hidden secrets and traces of corruption. But most citizens prefer to ignore it or remain completely ignorant about it; they might say it's a way to live in peace.
Things change when someone begin to blend into that spaces. She doesn't remember when she started working in one of the biggest and most well-hidden cabarets in Stohess. At first, it was for necessity, but the stage and the performance always called her, and she knew this was her place in the world.Despite the entertainment, she needed another job to be able to live comfortably within those walls, and she juggled both aspects of her life the best she could.
She thought her life would always be like this, that regardless of the circumstances, she'd have a peaceful life until she got married —or not. But the girl never expected their arrival, how their dreamy gaze and messy hair would steal all of her attention, leaving her wanting to see them again no matter what. -

No recuerda cuándo empezó a trabajar en uno de los cabarets más grandes y mejor escondidos de Stohess. Al principio, fue por necesidad, pero el escenario y la actuación siempre la llamaban, y sabía que ese era su lugar en el mundo.
A pesar del entretenimiento, necesitó otro trabajo para poder vivir cómodamente entre esos lujosos muros, y encontró una forma de compaginar ambos aspectos de su vida lo mejor que pudo.
Pensó que su vida siempre sería así, que, independientemente de las circunstancias, sería pacífica y tranquila hasta que se casara, o no. Pero la chica nunca esperó su llegada, cómo su mirada soñadora y su cabello despeinado robarían toda su atención, dejándola con ganas de volver a verlos pase lo que pasara. -

You had two jobs: the socially acceptable one as a bakery assistant at a boulangerie near the centre of Paris, and the socially unacceptable, ‘offensive’ side gig that barely paid, which basically consisted of writing and composing ridiculous plays that hardly anyone watched.
The only way you made any money was by mocking the Painters — and their wealthy associates. Apparently, Writers weren’t the only ones who held a grudge with those bastards, so the plays sold surprisingly well.
Somehow, you managed to keep both worlds from colliding — until now.
Because the second child of the family at the head of the Painters’ council decided to move in right above the boulangerie where you worked. And, to top it off, you had to deal with him showing up every morning for his daily dose of chocolat chaud à la chantilly.
You couldn’t help but wonder if life was having a laugh at your expense.
