Summary
James frames it as a simple getaway, an informal get-together with three of his older friends and Keith as the newest addition. With the conversation starting less than twenty-four hours before winter break officially begins, there's not much time left for Keith to think it through before he accepts the invitation. College is all about trying new things, right?
Forget the fact that he and James were sworn enemies less than two years ago. Ignore how Keith is the odd one out, the broke ex-foster kid forging his own way as an adult agreeing to spend a week with the wealthiest people he knows. Don't think about the years of history between James and his friends, and definitely don't compare it to the maybe one good year James and Keith have had together... not to mention all that came before they made amends.

Summary
The Seijoh third years' visit to the zoo was supposed to be a fun, lighthearted day. Supposed to. Instead, Oikawa and Iwaizumi spend the trip at each other's throats, the former seemingly having woken up with a massive chip on his shoulder. Before anyone can get to the bottom of why Oikawa is behaving like a total brat, things get a little... wet.

Summary
Living with Tobio was, unequivocally, the best. At least, Shouyou thought so.
It certainly wasn't all puppies and roses. They bickered like any couple living together for the first time, never being able to agree on how the laundry should be folded or how the living room should be decorated. But overall, it was nice to wake up and spend his day with his favorite person. They each spent half the year abroad, which was challenging in of itself, but that only made the time they did have together all the more precious.
And they certainly made the most of it.

Goosebumps broke out across the skin of his arms, chasing the memory over his whole body. It was like he was transported back in time. With one phrase, he was living that moment all over again. He could almost smell the leather of volleyballs, hear the unique echo of shoes in a large gymnasium, and worst of all, he could still feel the sting of defeat stapled through his heart.
He supposed he had a lot of practice feeling that particular sensation.

As luck would have it, a huge storm hits causing delays then a full on cancellation of his next fight causing him to be stranded alone in a hotel on Christmas eve. He ruminates on his past, and the loss of his ex best friend Iwaizumi Hajime. Thinking this day couldn’t get any worse, a familiar face intrudes on his self loathing and helps him win a second chance at life; maybe Christmas miracles do exist.

It's a love letter Tooru never dare to reveal. So childish, so embarrassing, yet so lovely. Such a simple sentence but so heavy for his tongue to say.
This love letter sounds like a game. And this game has rule. He can't say it in Japanese because obviously Hajime would know what that means and he can't say it in English because of course even the dumbest person would know what I love you mean.
He can't let Hajime know.

Auntie mulls it over. "Those sound like things you do."
Tooru's face flushes. "Well—well, yeah, he's my best friend."
She cocks her head at him, eyebrows raised. "So you want him to get another best friend?"
The visceral rejection of the idea fills him so fast, he's spitting out, "Never," before he even realizes it. Hajime's his best friend. His.
When he sees the amusement on Auntie's face, his flush deepens. "I—I mean," he fumbles, then straightens and crosses his arms, chin tilted up. "I'm irreplaceable, of course. I just mean this girl shouldn't hold him back."
Auntie nods, letting out a drawn out, "Ah." She grabs a potato and halves it. "I see. And you're sure it's a girl?"
"Of course, who else—" Tooru freezes. Wait.

Summary
Sometimes Hajime wonders if Oikawa sees the same things he does when he looks out over their neighborhood (right now it’s two kids kicking up pebbles on their bikes, lugging backpacks filled with walkie-talkies and water bottles and alien scanners, not sure if they’re heading down to the forest or up to the river but positive that they’ll get there together). Back then he and Oikawa saw the same thing when they looked down the road – a straight shot to another adventure, if they just pedaled fast enough.
Sometimes Hajime worries they stopped seeing the same thing a while ago and he never noticed.
Being snowed in with all of Seijou volleyball in his childhood home brings back a lot of memories for Iwaizumi, because it's kinda Oikawa's childhood home too.
