Summary
The thing about Lifesteal, was that people got hurt. It was something everyone accepted, part of the contract they signed themselves into. Sometimes they got hurt badly. Clown should know that one, because he was normally the one hurting them.
But sometimes, it just hit different.
Turns out, it's easy to underestimate what a sonic boom kill from a warden can do to a human body. And its even easier for Clown to blame himself for it all.

Summary
“Uh… um. Me? Oh that’s, hah. That’s-” they stumble over their words, voice only going higher in panic.
Clown simply crouches down in front of them, leaning into their space. It’s hilarious how quickly they pull back, jamming themselves into a corner. And now that he’s closer, and his eyes have adjusted to the dark, he can make out a familiar purple and black suit. Gloves with hearts running up them. But most damning of all, white hair. This is Carnival. A villain known for collecting debts like they’re trinkets. For selling information to the highest bidder. For coveting the ability to bring people back from beyond the dead. The very same person Clown has tried to challenge before, and failed. This is him.
“You can’t be Carnival. You’re so… weak” he says.
Or, the one in which Clown is both a vigilante and an assassin, Branzy is a villain and the most valuable informant in the city, and both of them are trapped in a room together by a common enemy

Summary
Branzycraft is a kept man. The sky is blue. Water makes things wet. Things that should be simple, known facts of life.
Which is to say, Branzy has no idea how the people around him right now are so oblivious as to kidnap him. They can’t be older than college age. Clown won't care their age, only their audacity. Fucking idiots with death wishes, the lot of 'em.
