"There should have been an easier way to go about it than what Oscar found himself in: this utter mess. Apparently Logan is close with a guy named Alex, who is living with another two - someone named George, and Lando himself. Oscar met with the latter during his orientation week and was actually the extravert who basically adopted him, so in fact, he now knows Lando. And Alex somewhat, by proxy. He never met this George guy though, he only heard stories, and saw memes about him. The three of them seemed chaotic, at best."

F1 drivers daemons are supposed to fly, or at the very least be pretty fucking fast. Oscar is perfectly content with his daemon Rian, and her chosen form as a Blue Heeler. Carlos and his crow daemon Athena, happen to agree.
“Does this mean you are admitting to liking Oscar now?” Athena chitters, flying onto the top of his phone to look inquisitively into Carlos’s eyes. “Just because you have some kind of crush on Rian does not mean I have feelings for Piastri.” Carlos denies.

Amor?
When Oscar’s eyes finally start functioning normally, he suddenly wishes they weren’t.
If his eyes weren’t working, he wouldn’t have to see Carlos goddamn Sainz’s face way too close to his. Oscar is accustomed to those big brown eyes being narrowed at him in irritated slits- but instead, chocolate irises are filled with concern as they study Oscar’s face, the tan skin around Carlos’ eyes crinkling as they seem to devour the sight of Oscar.
Before Oscar’s mind can catch up to why he’s in the hospital, and more importantly, why the bane of his Formula 1 existence is in the hospital room with him, looking at him like that, he hears a door open.
