Prince Shouto Todoroki is unhappy, and has been for most of his life. So, he decides to run away from the castle. In doing so, he stumbles into a world full of fantastical creatures, meeting Izuku Midoriya and Chief Katsuki Bakugou, whom of which change the course of Shouto's life forever.
Or: a fantasy AU based on the official MHA fantasy artwork, featuring Todobakudeku, which can be seen as either platonic or romantic. I did write this with romance in mind, but it sorta ended up as subtext, so.

The very idea that Bakugou could suck at anything was enough for him to attempt blasting Kaminari’s face off.
“I DON’T NEED TO HAVE KISSED PEOPLE TO BE GOOD AT IT!” His argument was weak, even to him.
Kirishima smiled awkwardly. “Uh, bro no offense but…I think you do?”
“It’s fine if you don’t like kissing, nobodies judging you.” Mina added kindly. “We’re just saying that the other members of Class 1-A are probably…more experienced than you.”
She did not just say that to him.
OR: Bakugou may not care about kissing, but he does care about being the best. And if that means kissing just about everyone in his class and making them rate the experience on a checklist afterwards, so be it.

Shouto is happy to have two boyfriends. Izuku is ecstatic to have two best friends despite knowing he’ll never be anything more to them. Katsuki is allergic to feelings but is pretty damn sure Izuku and Shouto are dating and hates how he’s crushing pathetically on them both.
It all comes crashing down when Shouto kisses Katsuki.

He looked up to find that Katsuki was still looking right at him, and it was the first time he’d really looked him in the eyes. He hadn’t thought they were this… red.
Izuku blinked, and too much happened all at once. He caught a glimpse up at the skyline, and the strangest thing had happened- the trees had changed colors. Now there were dots of a new color. Not the deep brown, and icy blue, and dark red he’d seen until now. Something new and vibrant and he didn’t know the name for it yet. But… that was it. Nothing else had changed.
“What the hell, Deku?”
“Kachan that’s a bad word.”~~~
