Summary
“It’s just, correct me if I’m wrong, dear… But, I can’t help but notice that you’re rather… shall we say, ‘determined’ about this little project.”
After all these years, there were some things they just didn’t talk about. Crowley never spoke about the Fall, had never mentioned his origins, except for just that once, in Bethlehem.

“Hey, you wanna go out in the garden and see Brother Francis?”
Warlock peeked above his arms, and Crowley held up the trousers, temptingly. On sudden impulse, Warlock kicked at his Nanny, catching the offending clothing around one leg and flailing till the trousers were whipped from her hands.
“Impressive,” Crowley admitted.
“Too sad!” The boy said, despairingly.
“You’re too sad? Too sad for what, Hellspawn?” -

Summary
Adam and Warlock spend spring break with their Godfathers, and make a plan to uncover the demon's True Form. Adam had been thinking about it all night, and he announced the next morning that they would almost certainly have to anger him. He suggested either scratching the Bentley or making fun of Aziraphale. Warlock strongly objected to both tactics, saying that awakening The Beast would not be worth it if they both ended up dead.

Summary
This was apparently one of those sleeps. Aziraphale hated those sleeps, because one never knew how long they’d last. He would only find out about them later on, after he’d sat around, lonely and miffed for weeks or years or decades.
He wondered whether his presence was an intrusion, a violation of Crowley’s privacy. But this time, they’d had plans! Also, Aziraphale had just worn Crowley’s body for almost a full day, which had been rather… intimate. So, in that light, he felt somewhat justified barging in. Now, he was standing in Crowley’s private sanctuary, watching him sleep.
He should go.
Crowley was so lovely.
He should definitely go.

Bookmarker's Notes
At the opera, during intermission Crowley complains about work troubles. Aziraphale implies that Crowley should just do what he's best at... essentially being hot AF, an eternally sexy, tempting creature. Aziraphale's first incriminating admission, and Crowley not even understanding what his angel is getting at, at first! I'm so glad that Crowley doesn't allow him to run away, and had the guts to force the conversation instead. Porn with feelings ensues.
All the phases of their honest communication as they kept seeking consent at every step.

Summary
When it came down to it, Aziraphale had always loved Crowley. He had taken comfort in the fact that he is an angel and is supposed to love all of Her creations. The thought that he could love Crowley in a more specific way was something he had considered before but had kept in the far reaches of his mind like a shameful secret. As the thought began to break free, the feeling of love overwhelmed him in a not dissimilar way to the flames overwhelming the church. He tried not to consider the meaning of a church of the Lord burning to ash before his eyes as he realised that he is in love with a demon .
Aziraphale and Crowley steal a night in the darkness hoping that they will remain unseen together in the blackout.

Bookmarker's Notes
After the church bombing, Crowley drives Aziraphale back to the bookshop. Driving fast, narrowly avoiding a collision with another car, Aziraphale places his hand on Crowley's leg, which starts a chain of events leading to one of the most beautiful love confessions, first times, I've read! Their first kiss and the first touches, felt so reverent and magical, and it took my breath away. As bombs fall around London, Aziraphale's love confession is swallowed up by the sound of the bomb going-off.
The running theme of darkness and hiding in the shadows was heart breaking, and it was driven home so poetically, throughout! It's especially beautiful, and problematic, that Aziraphale glows with love and happiness. Because, yes... that will be such a difficult thing to hide! A visit from the air-raid warden, to tell them to turn off their lights!

Drawlight's poetry. In this one, Aziraphale isn't returned to his body after the Appoconot. Crowley grieves and looks for him.
We flash back through time, as modern day Aziraphale
, discorporated and lost in time, tries to find his way home. Visits the wall of Eden, after they have parted ways and realized that he over shot it. Aziraphale pops in on every scene from the cold open, adding depth and richness. -

Bookmarker's Notes
This is the Christmas fic that has EVERYTING! The Crowley-Fell Christmas tree named Bruce. The ice skating. Strong hands and arms keeping them both from falling, multiple times!
Crowley's fear and trepidation of physical intimacy, and Aziraphale's quiet brokenness about not belonging to heaven. The image of Aziraphale weeping over his communication array, will stay with me!
You KILLED me with the description of Crowley punishing his plant. Somehow that hit harder than any other fic that tries to describe Crowley's despair.
Their reconciliation was so visceral. The silent embrace, the need, the sobs, the wing! HERE is the comfort i needed. This vision is a wing holding Crowley in the night will help me get to sleep.

Summary
Crowley’s vision has gone a bit fuzzy around the edges and his throat feels scorched with hellfire but his grip around the lower shelf vodka is white-knuckled. Vodka is his new friend now. It certainly has no plans to scurry back to Heaven and kiss Metatron’s wrinkled arse.
… does it?
Crowley holds the bottle aloft in front of him and squints at it suspiciously.

Bookmarker's Notes
This is exquisite. Crowley gives up and drinks incessantly, but someone slips into his flat as he sleeps and takes good care of him. Watering his plants and stocking the fridge. Aziraphale silently leaves books and romantic passages for Crowley to find. Eventually this wears him down enough to force a conversation.
Somehow the reconciliation never once felt forced, I could feel the truth in their words.
Aziraphale never left him. Crowley would never have abandoned earth. The books were nothing compared to Crowley. They'll have a few centuries to work on dismantling the whole system. All of that is deeply true. And if 90 minutes isn't enough, at least I'll still have this.
