Still, it was odd, and he couldn’t stand it. The most Mike knew about Chance were the facts that he’d told him at the beginning of the semester. Engineer, basketball, The Breakfast Club, oranges. And that’s all Mike really cared to know. It wasn’t his fault the guy wasn’t around enough for him to learn more.
Oh, and he was absolutely obsessed with his girlfriend.
If he wasn’t up at night reading the lines in Mike’s palms for insight on his life, he was talking about his girlfriend. While Mike hadn’t learned a lot about Chance himself, he’d learned a shit ton about his girlfriend.
Or; Mike and Chance are roommates at Indiana State University, and Chance won't shut up about his "girlfriend." Meanwhile, Will is bringing someone home for his friends and family to meet.

It's not looking good.
But it's nothing unusual, this is how every April fools is in school, it's like a warzone. Will's half surprised no one's tried to directly interact with him yet other than shouting names.What does surprise Will is that after Math ends, Mike pulls him aside. He looks nervous? He's pulling on his sweater sleeve and going from foot to foot, barely able to keep still.
"Hey Will" he shuffles his feet, staring downward, he can hardly meet Will's eyes "Can you come over later?"
Oh he's definitely got something planned. No worries, Will won't lower his guard.
"Ofcourse Mike"
