"They had already played this game thrice now, including the one exception they had gotten, but Jisung didn't think he would ever get used to the way Chenle's eyes focused in on him while a pepero stick was clutched between his lips. It felt like the inevitable would happen, like there was no way to avert a lightning from striking exactly where it shouldn't.
Two steps ahead and Jisung's breathing hitched. His chest didn't feel as tight anymore, as tight as it had the first time, but the warmth that eased his anxiety burnt up his insides like a forest fire. Nicholas is sure Euijoo has a face he won’t ever be able to forget if he’s seen it in passing or somewhere else. Beautiful smile, upturned lips, tanned skin that makes him look like he’ll probably make Nicholas sweat under the blanket if they’re pressed up against each other because he just seems to exude warmth.
“No.” Nicholas says, he’s never been more certain about anything in his life. “I don’t think so.”
“You look—” Euijoo trails off, “very familiar.”
