"They had already played this game thrice now, including the one exception they had gotten, but Jisung didn't think he would ever get used to the way Chenle's eyes focused in on him while a pepero stick was clutched between his lips. It felt like the inevitable would happen, like there was no way to avert a lightning from striking exactly where it shouldn't.
Two steps ahead and Jisung's breathing hitched. His chest didn't feel as tight anymore, as tight as it had the first time, but the warmth that eased his anxiety burnt up his insides like a forest fire.
