Summary
"Emrys.
An inspector’s nightmare. Robin hood’s wet dream. Arthur’s life for the past seven years.
The man was a mystery, enigma – nearly a myth, if it wasn’t for a thin folder in Arthur’s desk full of grainy photos, eyewitness accounts and scraps of books to prove otherwise. To say he was a thief would be to not do the man justice; Emrys was so much more. He was a revolutionary, a master of disguise, an obvious intellect, an artist, and an omen.
He was a proper adversary."
Arthur has been on the trail of Emrys, infamous thief and even more elusive man, for nearly his whole career. It's been a game of cat and mouse, traversing across the globe. That all changes one day, though, when Arthur gets an unexpected visitor and unwanted information. Suddenly, the Inspector's world is turned upside down, as he is shoved into a conspiracy of epic proportions, and forced into an underworld he never expected existed - with one sole goal: save Emrys before it's too late. But with the clock counting down, opposing loyalties rearing their ugly heads and run-ins with the law, can Arthur save Merlin before it's too late?

Summary
Jim Kirk is nine when a massacre on Tarsus IV leaves him without a family and without a home. Spock is twelve when a strange boy in the desert saves his sehlat. Families aren't born; they're made. The look in mother’s eyes at his correction remained a mystery long after the colors of the night sky and the complex patterns of distant nebulae had become translatable by means of distinct and relatively straightforward equations.

Bookmarker's Notes
This is dynamic and complex, and very, very well written. The character development, the plot, the humor, the art of weaving a flawless AU. As usual don't be daunted by the word count (honestly doesn't feel like your reading the equivalent of four books). It flows naturally and it's more than worth it.

Summary
Prince S'chn T'gai Spock of Vulcan, engaged to Prince James Tiberius Kirk of Earth through an arrangement made by their parents many years ago, writes to his intended on the day of his birth in the interest of diplomacy. Jim is not interested in diplomacy. Though there is no precedent set for the commencement of a written correspondence begun due to these specific parameters, I will strive to maintain, to the best of my abilities and with ample preparatory research previously conducted, the appropriate level of formality between us, based on a number of factors, primarily examples of a similar nature.

Bookmarker's Notes
The character interaction and development in this fic is through the roof. It's incredibly well written, and well thought out. It flows and you are instantly sucked into it. Do not be daunted by the word count. It's easy to read, and nothing like tedious.
