Thee’s face flushed a deep scarlet. He lunged to cover his brother’s mouth, but Rome dodged with a sidestep, laughing at his misery.
“Can you stop fucking screaming?” Thee growled.
Rome doubled over laughing, losing his breath. Thee looked like he wanted to dig a hole in the shed floor and bury himself, while Mok, in the background, was reevaluating every life choice that had led him to work with these idiots.

One, Kian must treat Peach like a professional at work. No special treatment. No raises or bonuses. No flirting. And especially no, you know, unprofessional behavior.
Two, no extravagant gifts. The second rule used to be the first rule. It existed from day one. From the first time that Kian tried to give Peach a commercial enterprise in commemoration of their first true kiss. There was no telling what Kian's impulse had been to give Peach after their first night together. At least whatever it was, Kian knew enough by then to not even attempt it.
