“... Not my emperor.” MK grumbles, “Now what am I doing here? Didn’t you say you were going to leave me alone… This isn’t really leaving me alone?”
MK tries to gesture across the room, but his wrists are still banded under the blankets. He finds he can’t move his legs either.
... That ain’t good.
He tries not to think about how this situation is just getting worse.
“Ah,” Azure starts, the darkness in his eyes contrasting with a Mona Lisa smile plastered across his face, “But I’m afraid I am, now.”
Azure leans in, MK leans away.
“And you will listen to me. I will not have a naughty, disobedient cub in my court.”
“Well, good thing I’m not a part of your court.” MK narrows his eyes up at him.
He has no idea how wrong he's about to be about that.

AU where instead of Azure redeeming himself, he's enabled to get SO much worse.
Loosely based off the quote where Macaque shows MK Lion Camel Ridge and says: "This is Azure's utopia, and this (cut to desert with dead trees and skulls) is the price he paid to build it." and "Azure's always been good at convincing people he's the good guy. He's even fooled himself."

Summary
“Hey Monkey King what, uh, what are you doing here?” MK joins in, nervous. He peeks out from behind Macaque to see the monkie’s smile grow larger, almost too large. It brings a shiver down MK’s spine.
… And when did it get so cold?
MK grips his furry arms, trying to find some warmth. Surprisingly, it doesn’t work. Even his new, fluffy fur can’t stop the weird coldness. They let a gasp out and white air is breathed into the supposedly summer night.
Uh oh.
“Mon-” MK goes to speak up, but the king's smile stretches up like a horror movie, shutting them up in fear. Nevermind. This is not his beloved mentor.

Remember the coldest winter AU? I love the concept and thought I'd take a crack at it! This is also inspired by a few others works but mainly does have my own lore I made up.

Summary
I've never seen a lot of fics with Nightwing and Poison Ivy together, but have read a few good ones. I just wanted to write something with Dick as a Talon when ⭐this masterpiece of an idea ⭐ came to me.
Talon! Dick Grayson and Poison Ivy!
What if: During another one of her world destroying schemes, Poison Ivy finds herself invading the Court of Owls, and even getting involved in one of their big rituals. While carrying out her plans, she nearly gets murdered by a Talon. Since she is not able to kill it she brings it back to figure out how. It'd help her in her plans, anyway.
Things do not go according to plan.
(This story is written completely from the perspective of Talon.)

Day 1: (The Unchangeable Changes) Snow - After the gang flees from Lady Bone Demon in S2 E10, they set off on a journey to the west- but the west is a long way from the familiar comfort of home. MK struggles with the sudden changes.
Day 2: (The Known, The Unknown, The Please Don't Tell a Soul) Eavesdropping - Set sometime around S1 E7 (Impossible Delivery), MK finally begins training with Monkey King. The monkeys of Flower Fruit Mountain have a lot to say about their king, however, and MK has a sneaking suspicion that he’s not supposed to know any of it.
Day 8: (Baby's Breath) Smile - In an alternate universe, Sun Wukong comes face-to-face with the most daunting monster he has ever come across during his Journey: the protector of an unheavenly peach tree.
Day 10: (Desert Water) Care - In our original timeline, the Samadhi Fire reforges and almost tears Mei apart. In this timeline, things aren’t much better.

Summary
MK fell through a tear in reality during his confrontation and fight with Azure Lion. He drifted there, sleeping, waking, only half remembering what had lead up to him being there.
He did remember clearly that he wanted to go home. But for MK, Home meant two different things. It could either be a place you lived in, or a person you felt safe with.
The Void answered that wish, just not in the way MK had wanted.
It brought him back. And it brought him home.
But it wasn't home as he knew it.
