“Strength for what?” Alear asked.
“To kiss you, of course.” Ivy slid over on the bed, her knees just touching Alear’s. Her violet eyes never left Alear’s as she slowly lifted up her right hand and placed a gentle kiss in the center of her palm. The breath left Alear’s lungs as Ivy’s lips moved to her wrist, where they kissed a reverent trail up her arm and to her neck.
