But the spark of hope that Rumi ignited in Jinu that there could be something beyond this life of misery and shame isn’t so easily extinguished by threats and pain and to Jinu's horror, Gwi-Ma discovers the traitorous thought. Gone now is the deal for his memories to be erased and instead the fates of the Saja Boys, the closest thing Jinu has to family, are now at stake. Either he follows through with his plan and helps Gwi-Ma capture all the human souls, or the only people he's allowed himself to care about will suffer horror and pain for the rest of the eternity. There's no right answer, there's no escape, and no matter what Jinu chooses people are going to get hurt. The only thing he can even try to control is how much.

Summary
Huntrix confronts the Saja Boys at the bathhouse, intent on destroying them. Only the Saja Boys aren’t demons. They’re just a fresh-faced, very human boyband who recently debuted and are trying to make their way in the world.
All except Jinu, their leader, who is halfway through a deal with Gwi-Ma, and has the same secret matching patterns crawling up his body that Rumi does.
But Rumi doesn’t know that Jinu isn’t a full demon. Not until she has him pinned against the sauna wall with her sword, her hands slick with his blood.

Summary
Rumi watched as the figure, adorned in his black hanbok and gat, descended from above like an angel of death. Jinu. There was no mistaking it. It was actually him. It was clear he was in his demon form. She could see the glow of his golden eyes, looking right at her.
“Pray for me now…” The chanting increased. Loud and deep.
This wasn’t right.
Something was wrong.
Abruptly, like a puppet who had its strings cut, Jinu fell to the ground, landing harshly on the stage with a resounding thud.
The crowd screamed.
_________________________________Jinu comes back to Rumi broken. She has to work with friends, family and enemies to help get his soul back before it’s too late, while learning dark secrets about her heritage and the life of the demon boy she loves along the way.
