He arrives in the little town of Montepulciano at his grandmother’s behest in hopes of healing his body and mind. While he intends to spend his respite in solitude, he soon finds himself falling into Rook’s orbit. In her, Lucanis begins to see a way forward. The chance for a peaceful life. A slow burn novelization of Lucanis and Rook falling in love that will follow the events of the game, with some unique twists of my own. Plenty of angst and tension, with plans for lots of comfort and fluff later on. Some of the cutscenes from the game will be included, but the majority will be events that take place outside of those. The first chapter takes place just before the Big Decision in Act 1, after the coffee date.
